Kpop stans lowering their standards is most likely the reason people were bashing Nmixx for “flexing their vocals too much” and hating on Babymonster for “over-performing” and it’s so disappointing

The Wonyoung one is pissing me off. She didn't ask to be this popular. It just happened because there's people who genuinely adore her like I do. If you want your faves to have that same popularity, focus on them more than complaining. Ive seen kpop stans do this exact same crap to other idols/groups like BTS, Blackpink, Twice, ect and it needs to stop

I miss times when music show wins came naturally, when it was the right time, when the songs really deserved the win cause they were actually successful. Now it feels like everyone wants their faves to win within a week from debut or else it’s the end of the world, but it’s really not. Wins are not everything 🙄

This! And people calling groups flops because they didn't get multiple wins with their debut. My ults are still winless - and just celebrated their 7th anniversary. That's a bit extreme, but I wish fans would give these groups a year or so (or at least a comeback or three) before expecting a win.

3. Not liking Wonyoung because she is too popular is so idiotic to me. If you don't like her personality, fine, but because she's well-known? Just say you need an excuse to hate her and leave it there.

7. Vocals are the song. We can listen to the clicking of sneakers from the idols dancing. Vocals are why we listen to the song. Valuing vocals is not a bad thing. But I can get the point that not every member needs Beyonce or Bruno Mars vocals.

I think the oversaturation issue is due to the quantity over quality mentality that some companies have. There's also the overworking (like with twice) and extreme age restrictions (because 25 is ancient now). If the kpop industry took more time to release and let the idols have the longevity of Tayeon, for instance, I feel like we wouldn't feel this oversaturation.

I was able to go to Ive's concert in my country and it was so amazing. Wonyoung is a top performer. Her energy is all up from beginning to end, and she interects so much with the crowd.

Whether Blackpink has the strongest rap line in their generation or not I won't be commenting. But my favourite rap part among the 3rd generation groups is Jisoo's verse in Pretty Savage. That verse hits so hard.

I said something similar, only about Lisa. Lisa can't rap at all, even at the peak of her career. I feel like she was only popular for resembling a Barbie Girl and that was it.

That fact that these people thought they were right makes it so much more agitating to watch.

I'm a Kpop stan who knows almost every girl group in the 4th gen (2018 to 2024) and quite a lot of 3rd gen groups (2012 to 2018), I know a lot of boy groups too as well. I try to find every group to debut each year (starting in 2021) and I try to find the nuguist of nugu artist (I gave context, so that I actually can say it with the knowledge I have), but I do agree with the fact that a lot of kpop groups should disband. They just overfill the industry because there are quite a few kpop companies that are just debuting groups each year to disband them after debut or after 1 or 2 comebacks, and it's very uncertain which groups actually stay and which groups disband immediately after debut. That's why we have idols like Jinsil (Blackpink's backup dancer)(Her last group was disbanded girl group Blastar), Soohyun (Her last group is the promoting trot gg Minimani) & Jein (Her last group is disbanded girl group HeyGirls) who have all 3 debuted 5 times. Idols under nugu companies are unsure whether their career is stable or not because of labels not being able to manage their groups properly. This is why I have a problem everytime a new company pops up or an already made company pops up and debuts a group or prepares to debut a group because there's just too many that debut and with disbandments happening a lot, it's just too much. Also, there are kpop companies who don't know how to make a decent song (I don't mind if the mv is low budget as long as the song is decently made), which makes the group uninteresting to a lot of people because of the low quality production. Plus, the debuting of average idols who can't decently sing, rap or dance too (amongst all budgeted labels). Lots of factors have led me to agree that a lot of kpop groups should disband or shouldn't have debuted because of the companies who didn't think it through before debuting them even though I love promoting all sorts of artists especially the nuguist of nugus on my other channel for ktube content.

I don't really have a problem with the industry being saturated if all the groups get properly managed and are able to build their own identity, however, this isn't the case for a lot of groups whose companies debut them just to then not put any effort into them, like you said. I firmly believe that if you are a nugu company that can barely pay for a decent song you shouldn't debut groups at all, but some of these companies don't think it through and just debut random groups, hoping to magically recreate a bts kind of success. However, i just think these groups shouldn't debut in the first place, instead of just disbanding them after debut (like the opinion said) because that would really mean having wasted these trainees' time without even giving them a chance.

@@soft4taeng yes, I definitely agree. I always say that if you cannot manage a group properly don't debut them in the first place. There have been so many groups since the first gen to debut and disband after 1 song. I can name a lot of songs in the 4th generation alone. To get an idea about how many groups debut in a year. You can make a 100 nugu kpop song video for girl groups and boy groups and have 100 different girl group songs and 100 different boy group songs. No groups would repeat in the list. That's how many debut each year!

Wearing small bikini, panties instead of shorts....but unlike male idols who focused on performance and vocals,most of female idols were tweaking on stage,laying on the floor with their butt on air! Did anyone talked about their performances,song,talent, hyping the crowd? No! But everyone in the tl called them talented powerful women😒 now let just remember when a male idol came on stage wearing boxer, and tweaking sexually on stage🤔never. There is no comparison here,a man can go topless and he will be hyped, but he needs talent too or else no one would care about his 6 packs. A woman in a bikini doesn't even need to move, yet when they do, it's sexualising their performances,its all about exposing their bodies and that's not empowerment at all.

For opinions 6 I think you honestly missed the entire point of it. The point isn't that you shouldn't be able to talk about the other members that are not The Main lead the point is that if you're going to try to call a group something that is bad usually you're going to have to judge their main or lead positioner because they are the best in that area for a reason and their titles or roles tell you that. You used the 10 girl group example (which I'm 95% sure that's just you talking about Girls generation) but I also have an example for you a six group example, every member in the group has their main or lead role including the ones that don't necessarily have main or lead leaving those members to be okay or at least decent in those areas especially compared to their main vocalist or lead vocalist because those are the main and lead for a reason they're the best in that area, now let's say the sub vocalist messes up on a vocal and people start calling the group trash or horrible vocalist and start thrashing on a group as a whole.. it obviously wouldn't make sense because that is the sub vocalist or just a regular vocalist they're not the main or lead or the other members they're not as good and they never claimed to be like how the main vocalist in lead vocalist do, I can agree that some members should be good at certain things but not everybody has to be good at everything that alone some things because they have their roles for a reason the only one I expect to be good in other areas are the visuals because that's mainly just a title more than anything else

It's literally like Le Sserafim who all managed to do their roles very well because those are their roles they are the best in what they're called Sakura has essentially everything else but very good vocals but she never claimed to have them let alone wanted to have amazing vocals because she never felt like she had to focus on them, in people telling her we're asking about her vocals were absolutely right because you know she should still be at in people telling her we're asking about her vocals were absolutely right because you know she should still be at in people telling her we're asking about her vocals were absolutely right to judge ONLY her but it quickly got out of hand and people started calling the other members horrible vocalist even though two of them are actually pretty good or decent vocalist themselves.

Not all the members have to be all rounded necessarily but they do have to have a sense of holding up with their roles tell you that they are, if somebody has visual dancer and rapper expect them to be good at dancing and rapping and not at vocals because they're not telling you that they are.

Oh yeah and another thing no offense to mainly you but I don't think most of you K-pop fans know what the word mediocracy or mediocre means. Especially since it means to be normal or essentially the standard of something and y'all use it as if it's supposed to mean to be below the standard😂

5. Ima have to disagree with them because some of the rappers that you name are better XG rapline. I think that because I just prefer them over XG, I like their flow better so yeah I agree with you. But that’s just imo.
