Wow. White knuckle driving. I don't know how you guys deal with stuff like this day in and day out. I am a nurse, and have seen some nasty stuff, but I could never do your job, ever. All first responders have my undying respect. Stay safe out there !!!
People in my department always brag about how fast they can drive to prove skill. But this is true First Responder driving skill

@@d1001 indeed first response drivers win the most of there time with the privilages that come with riding code (drive trugh red lights and use of sholder) it is the abilety to keep moving that wins time not the speed at witch you can drive
2:46 the equinox was doing his best to get out of yalls way😭😭bless

but the moment he noticed the code 3 vehicel also choosing the sholder her responded perfectly by getting back in to the lane. More drivers like that please
4:37 I'm impressed with how quickly and efficiently they got out of the way.

I like how in many European countries you are obligated to form an emergency corridor. This would benefit the US greatly I think.
Great maneuvering ability, I couldn’t have done it without a navigator to help with siren and looking out for others 👍👍👍👍🚒🚒🚒

Did you want them to just ram the cars around them to get out of the way? As soon as they hit traffic the cars stuck in the traffic did their best to move where they could safely.
Gotta say, nice job protecting your lane even in the dense traffic!

@ 2:30 that’s how they do it in Germany they’re calling it for rescue street in between the two lanes and behold it actually works fine most of the time. Great video.
Clicked on this random video I got recommended and it could have been anywhere in the world and yet it’s the same highway I used to take everyday to get to school in my hometown. Crazy

Wider shoulder lanes would have at least helped a little more for these guys. Great job getting through that hell hole. Really know your stuff

Pennsylvania roads are some of the worst in the country for things like that.
@movario

Thats why I`d prefer that they make way in the middle of the road. The cars on the right go to the right, the cars on the left to the left. And if you`re having more than 2 lanes, then only the cars on the most left lane go to the left, all the rest to the right. That way you don`t have to deal with small shoulder lanes, or shoulder lanes full of debris.
He should add a Rumbler ;) lol

I would say I wish this vid was longer, but then that would mean longer wait for the patients. great vid
So much more respect by drivers than here in UK. Good job guys..
very neat
Love that Powercall siren
0:28 Every time I hear this siren I get chills, it isn't really used much, if at all (at least not where I live). The reason it gives me chills is because the one time I do remember it being used was on 9/11. Such an eerie thing to hear to go with that day. Every time I hear it I think of that.
Love the powercall siren 👍🏻
Damn this was way more entertaining compared to what I thought this video was going to be
Love the power call
Wow, people are actually paying attention. Good for them!
That's a miserable drive without an emergency. Great driving.
I love how The Who video powercall is used
I was just on that stretch of road 2 days ago going to the Octoberfest in Reading.
That was stressful and I was only watching the video!
I grew up in sinking spring. Was just at the pagoda the other week. Lots of memories from reading.
Outstanding situational awareness from the blue car at 4:40, probably saved valuable seconds.
This is why every single Highway should have a *Full side lane, just for this type of situation.

Can't really do either of them if traffic is already stopped - so best bet is to hope the traffic moves forward if they can so traffic behind can make room
anyone realize the three traffic stops next to each other 😂
Always tough getting to vehicle accidents on the freeway as they tend to create their own traffic jams.
I thought you stopped doing The response videos
Nice drive good job
The traffic busted out of the way admirably in my opinion 👏
Sorry about the heavy traffic.
HAPPY NEW YEAR MY OLD FRIENDS 2020
Nice 422 reading
Its that powercall siren going code 3 again. :)
3:35 That Subaru Impreza nsx looks cool ( next to the schoolbus
what is the name of the outro-song?
What siren u use

if someone accidentally (no pun intended) grazed the ambulance slightly while you guys are responding to an emergency, would you guys just blow it off or depends on how bad the hit is?

Its sometimes that way not always
We used to have a four-lane divided highway two each way that went through what we called them the Golden mile meeting most of the shopping was there and on Friday night it was parked. We had a call I was driving there was no where to go the cars couldn’t move out of the way and there was no side road I had to wait my officer laid on the siren but we were like 10 cars back from the traffic light. He certainly was very hard on the other drivers and on me. Truly a bad situation and there was no other road I could’ve taken. I could go when the traffic light changed the cars moved out of the way and we were off.
Wow, the drivers out there react a good deal better than the ones here in California.

In pa people pull over but when their isn't traffic everyone drives like a maniac. Btw Philadelphia is 45 mins away from this road and there it's full with idiotic drivers
Holy fuck man, those are some of the tightest squeezes I've ever seen anyone make.
What is the outro song?
What's causing this traffic? Is it the accident?
I always hear this siren behind my house
Pittsburgh area?
What's the siren's name?
Need some Q2 on that thing.
I’m sorry but the P call needs to be partnered with an air horn or Q it’s an unwritten rule lol and a rumbler would definitely help😈
@QuinnDickinson2610

The Smart Siren stopped working so this siren was put in as a temporary siren till it gets fixed. What might end up happening is that the Smart Siren will be fixed and the Powercall will run with it. The original plan for the POV a while back was run dual sirens. We were going to run a Unitrol 80K and original RLS siren. When the RLS stopped working, we replaced it with the Federal Signal Smart Siren.

Why was there three cops with cars pulled over?
Good God. A nightmare. Looked like a parking lot
In my country 30% of people don’t give the way to the ambulance and for real the ambulance won’t take you to hospital if you don’t have any money or you are poor. one more thing is People usually follow behind the ambulance when they stuck in the traffic.
Is it weird I’ve never seen an emergency vehicle going down a highway??
