What are you doing to push their buttons? Ask الله to help your parents do better, but first, check your own actions and how you're responding to/treating them. May الله help all of y'all by HIS mercy. اللهم امين. "Respect your parents no matter what"!!

Don’t let these comments make you feel like your pain isn’t valid or that your abuse isn’t real. You know what YOU have been thru and that’s enough. People who haven’t faced abusive parents will never understand how it is. Also he did do a talk on abusive families (which includes parents) and he touched on emotional/verbal abuse too.

Very important. These days children act like parents and have very little respect and care for their mothers . For them life is all about having fun and enjoyment

SubhanAllah! With this generation, social media, phones, technology etc... has interfered with our lives drastically. "some" children can be a real handful at times and it's hard to deal with them. Start them off at an early age to listen to you. Parents sometimes don't know what to do. Muslim and non muslim children alike. May الله give the parents the strength/ability and the mental capacity to deal with them as best they can.الله please protect all of us from the evil whispers of shaytan by YOUR mercy. اللهم امين 😔
