Un sueño. Desde que ví el hotel por primera vez en el año 1998 pensé que este era el hotel que yo desearía pasar mis vacaciones. Lo tiene todo, incluso en sus cercanías la posibilidad de caminar y disfrutar de toda el area que Meloneras nos invita. He pasado 6 de últimas vacaciones en Lopesan Costa Meloneras y les puedo decir que realmente vale la pena estar ahí. Para mi el mejor hotel que yo he pasado mis vacaciones y Meloneras un lugar maravilloso.

It looks lovely . The only downside you pointed out was the fact that people always put towels on beds and then go off and leave , so you have no where to lay and we are a “party of 5” so I worry I would never get a group together unless I got up at 5am !!! Maybe quiet times like January would be good ?The scenery is amazing though and I know @tenniswithdennis would love the tennis ! Thanks for the tour .

Oh I think you missed this "paid extra per entrance" undeground spa resort with all the saunas, steam rooms, ice rooms and other relaxing type of rooms

I remember when you used to be able to see the people from the infinity pool as you walked along the walkway in front of the hotel.. looks like they've built some restaurants since then, god that must have been in 2009 or something... I've spent many years since on GC, but just not down in Meloneras - usually up in the south-west in Mogan/Amadores/Puerto Rico area.

@@VeryunOfficialTravelGuides No, but you could walk a lot closer to where the guests sit looking over the wall at the end of the pool. This space seems to have been taken up by shops now.

Looks like a nice resort but not somewhere I would want to visit, as I am sure I would get super board in the first couple of days lol sounds super expensive so think I will stick to Royal. Love you videos so always watch lol

Have been going to Maspolomas for many, many years and have always wanted to stay at this resort. The pools look out of this world. Going to have to win the lottery first though!!

@@VeryunOfficialTravelGuides we stay at Cordial Sandy Golf or Cordial Green Golf, which are located near to the Maspalomas Golf Course, they are self catering accommodation, not in the same league as where you stayed but lovely all the same. We love all the Canary Islands but we go to Gran Canaria the most, the beaches are gorgeous.

We go gran canaria every year, we have been the clubhotel riu , which is 2 doors down 5 times in a row! The only reason we don't go to this one is because the rooms seem drab, riu is very modern, we did walk into this hotel though and yes the reception area is beaut, and the Christmas trees were beautiful

That infinity pool is AMAZING!! I'm currently under a blanket on my couch in Michigan. Sigh. At least I can live vicariously through your video!

Hello mate booking a holiday with on the beach for this resort, it only has half board package for brekk and dinner so for snacks drinks and lunch do i need to pay as i have 4 kids dont wana leave the resort. Info from you would help mate.

If the booking information says it includes breakfast and dinner, then that is all that is included: breakfast and dinner. There is a small supermarket close by, as well as many restaurants. I hope you have a great time!

16.5 hour flight from Seattle. 😒 Guess I’ll just watch Morgan’s videos.

I think this is probably one of the better hotels for families. The people who stay here are interested in relaxing, having a nice glass of wine and great food, and going to bed early. It's very, very different than most of the hotels on the other side of the dunes!

Unfortunately, yes!

Blowing a cold wind 24/7. I'd rather have a smaller pool on the south of the island where the climate is far better. You will catch a cold staying here. Also the beach is useless.

I leave to visit my family in the USA, including a short trip to Disney World and a cruise in just a few weeks.

Pools with swim up bars freak me out... I've seen too many drunk people in them for hours and hours without leaving...you know they're all just peeing in there. And a lake smaller than that pool isn't a lake, it's definitely a pond ;)
