Europe-Georgia Institute chairman George Melashvili says resistance in Georgia is "getting bigger and bigger" over the 'foreign agent law'.
Thousands of protesters massed in the centre of Tbilisi, shutting down a major intersection controlling traffic between different neighbourhoods.
The law would require organisations receiving more than 20% of their funding from abroad to register as agents of foreign influence.
George says: "It's the Government not caring about democracy, will of the people... these protests are the biggest in modern Georgian history!"
