The #mica pigments used came from 3 different brands and I’ve broken them down for you below too.
I used JDiction #resin products for this video and I really like how the resin worked but I wonder if there’s something about this particular formula that was preventing my cells and lacing to develop. It’s the first waves piece i’ve done with this resin so I’ll have to try again and see. I also use another brand, Rockstar Resins and you can get a discount with them too.
This piece was achieved via a very different method, however, the aesthetic was influenced by the wonderful work of ‪@MichelleTraceyArt‬. Her pastel ocean pieces got stuck in my head and I couldn’t wait to make my own version.
