Awe I'm so sorry for your loss, this will make a wonderful memorial piece for her. Maybe make one with non special flowers 1st just to practice. Or if you have several flowers from her services that works too. If they're kind of closed up more like a bud like the flower I used in this video they don't get as many air bubbles.

The last few years I have been really into acrylic pour painting, air brush stencil painting & more recently the epoxy resin mold creations. Perhaps obsessed with the epoxy is more accurate. OMG, I must have over one hundred projects. I love the Pyramids (all sizes), coasters, spheres & other geometric shapes and of course the Skulls. I am surely not in your league but I believe some of my work is OK. Hay, it's a hobby & for deriving some pleasure in the work, right. I love your Flower Pyramid in this video, so very beautiful! Awe thank you so much Sandy 🤗😁 I dried a bunch of pink roses to try and make a few more of these but they turned brown 😪 I'm going to try drying some full size roses again soon. Weird thing is I dried some small red rose buds at the same time and they kept their color just fine. 🌹

Hi, thank so much and thanks for watching. On this I did wait 24 hours between layers but you can pour your next layer as soon as your previous layer starts to gel. Gel time depends on the resin you use. The manufacturer should have it on their website on the products description. I used liquid diamonds on this one and the gel time is 12 hours. So I could have poured the next layers as soon as 12 hours but I waited 24 hours.

Hello!! Absolutely loving how this turned out! 😍 Do you have any tips as to how to avoid lines in the clear parts? I made a resin pyramid too and in the clear part you could really see those ugly lines in between layers 🥺😭😭

Hi, thanks for watching ❤️ to avoid those lines you have to pour your next layer at the right time. If the previous layer is fully cured you will get the lines. The liquid diamonds casting resin I used on this piece has 8 hour gel time. So if you pour your next layer 8 hours after the previous layer you won't have those lines. 🤗

Thank you so much and thanks for watching 🤗 The pyramid mold might not have been level. Definitely double check and make sure it's 100% level. If it's even a little bit off it can cause that to happen.

This is gorgeous and one of the best tutorials I’ve seen! If you don’t mind answering, how do you avoid the visible lines between your layers? I know some other people only wait a couple hours until the previous layer is tacky instead of the full 24hrs but I prefer your method! I wasn’t sure if it was due to the Liquid Diamonds or your own magic 😂

Awe thank you so much and thanks for watching 🤗💜 To avoid that line with liquid diamonds pour 8 hours after the previous layer was poured. I didn't do that with this piece but with liquid diamonds 8 hours is the time to avoid that demarcation line. 🤗

So beautiful. It’s nice to see a face with a voice. Question, aren’t you afraid of the other layers yellowing? Do you only do the first layer with blue cuz that has the least amount of resin?

Thank you so much and thanks for watching 🤗 this pyramid didn't take a lot of resin to make so I only did the 1st layer with blue to off set yellowing. If the pyramid was bigger and had more clear. I would have added blue to all the clear layers. You can always add blue to your other clear layers if you are using a resin that yellows. Some brands yellow more than others.

Thanks for watching 🤗 The liquid diamonds casting resin is a very thin viscosity and has hardly any bubbles. I kept a close eye on it as I added the rose and moved any bubbles that formed with a toothpick up to the top so I could pop them. I didn't have many bubbles at all on this one 🤗

@@naptimecreations HI Tish, I am really glad you got my message thank you so much for taking the time to read & Reply back to me very much appreciated I am the sort of person that only puts the truth in the comments & that is what I see & Learn from your tutorial & as I said I thought your pyramid resin rose was stunning I Learnt a lot from you thank you 🙂 I have been looking on u tube at some of your other tutorials they look so nice I will enjoy watching them I have only been doing resin for about 2 months so very very new to it all so all the help & tips I can receive is very welcoming I am really looking forward to watching your next tutorial ❤️✨👍 Lin

Hello, beautiful work, congratulations. One question, could you tell me how many hours you let the resin dry between coats? Thank you very much

Thank you so much 🤗🌹 I wait 24 hours in between layers but you can pour the next layer as soon as 12 hours.
