In this video I show you my current workflow for resin printing. I've noticed in a lot of other videos that some content creators are not taking safety measures and the hazardous potential of UV resin seriously and want to show you a clean and safe way how to handle with the resin.
If you want to know which projects I'm currently working on for future videos:

Just stumbled across your channel and it's an absolute gold mine. It's shocking to me that the safety videos don't get as many views since it should be the first check anyone getting into the hobby should do. I really appreciate these and am binging through all of the safety and setup overviews you've got out so far, thank you for the content.

Your set up is amazing and you have done your homework on the hole process. I must admit I think I fall in the middle of that scale I should improve on my safety method. I do love that Drain box you made to let your prints sit for a day or so. Great Idea and video.

Thanks for sharing i use nitrile gloves, eye protection or better the covid vizor and a respirator when dealing with IPA. I reuse the gloves since I'm not dealing with sterile stuff and resin isn't acid, just clean them with a paper towel after taking them off and leave them inside out, using two gloves is overkill. The smell doesn't bother me and i have my printers near a window on a desk, the cure station is on another desk. Nice tip on rotating the bottle to have no resin drip, my tip would be to clean the buildplate after removing the prints with a paper towel and finally with some ipa on a paper towel. Experimented once with Fairy instead of IPA and it was pretty good.

Thanks! I simply don't trust my cleaning process when I wipe the gloves with a paper towel and want to avoid cross contamination of stuff that I touch with them.

@@evolutionxstudios Well u can clean them with IPA and leave them for a few days, used to throw gloves away after one use but it’s a waste and we’re not working in a sterile environment or working with acid/toxic materials, high quality nithril gloves will last. I reuse them several time then I’ll used them for airbrush a couple times till it’s time to throw them away.

@@TheIcemanModdeler do you mean the thin disposable ones or thicker once? For me the thin disposable once are a struggle to wear twice

@@evolutionxstudios The ones that i use are bulletproof, never gotten a tear and u can basically use them till they tear. Mine are called Dr Mayer black spades , had ones that had tracks in them, think they were meant for cars but those were thicker and even tougher.

I think it was a Knoxhult, but I had to make it deeper to fit the printer. Metod could also work.

The lack of resin safety people seem to forget is uterly baffling They also seem to pour uncured resin down the drains 🤦🏽‍♂️
