I wanted to say thank you for your prayer it has really helped me feel some hope again. In this past year I have lost my sister, my daughter and my brother-in-law and I am and have been so down, I have started crafting again and making resin jewelry for the first time and I love it, I don't have a lot of funds so I am doing what I can for now until I can figure out how to start selling what I will be making for my side hustle and I know God directed me to you to help me with what I am trying to achieve so keep me in your prayers and I will keep you in mine. Love the sunset collection! Very pretty! I'm new to resin jewelry, starting with UV resin. I just made a lovely set tomgift to my cousin. Last night I tried to create a pair of earrings but was a utter fail. Not sure what to do to save them. Thank you for your prayer, I am needing a side hustle for extra income. I just started into resin making for jewelry and I am so thankful I found your videos. I have a nonprofit to help women out of sex trafficking and 100% of the proceeds from the jewelry I make go to the nonprofit. I love it. When you said, "Side hustle" i immediately thought of the creativity that the Lord gave me to help raise money for this cause. It has been fun to do something I love and help women get out of their trafficking situation. SO Blessed! Anyway, thank you for the help in getting started and I look forward to learning more from you!

Thanks for sharing this video. I am just getting into resin so I need all the help I can get. I have been making jewelry for awhile now and crocheting as well, but I was thinking I need another area for income and after praying I was led to resin. Especially after seeing pieces in some of the shows I’ve been to. I am a Christian and God leads me as I can no longer work a regular job due to health issues, so I work my company full time, but I could use a side hustle. I’ve tried several things that haven’t worked that I’ve wasted time and money on. I do sell MaryKay too and have been for a year, but it’s not doing well with the economy the way it is. I’ve been praying about that too and I may have landed on something, but I’m still learning how to make it, due to it being food. Thanks, I loved the video and I’ll probably rewatch it, due to just starting with resin.

I'm fairly new to resin, though "old" in the Lord, and I love the journey I'm on. I have a few side hustles--I raise chickens and sell the eggs; I do wood turning and sell the things I make, as well as leather working items, natural skin care products, resin cross necklaces, resin earrings, and I make greeting cards as well, sometimes with wax seals on the envelopes. BTW, they say that people that work with their hands never end up in the nut house. So I think I'm safe. Lol...God bless.😚

Awww 🥰 thank you very much!! Rubbing alcohol. 91% It helps take away bubbles But you can’t use it in every technique. Like dropping alcohol ink to make pretty design. It messes with the design but with everything thing else you can spray the rubbing alcohol to pop the bubbles. Does that make any sense. 😆🙈

Hello. Thank you for this lovely video. I'm a total novice and have a quick question. I have a cheap ring that is definitely going to turn my finger green. Normally I would paint it with clear nail polish, but resin would be a much harder and permanent coating. Can I mix a cup of resin and just dip the band part of the ring into it? Dry it on a flat surface (like plastic) ? Would that work? Thank you so much in advance for any advice you might give.

So I would use UV resin to do that instead of epoxy. Epoxy dries in 24+ hours and a lot could drip off. I would get uv resin and put it under the Light and it dries in 60 seconds. It might take longer because you might have to turn it a couple of times but it should be quick and get the results you want.

It wouldn't speed up the process that quickly. It would still take about 24 hours to set even using JDiction epoxy which sets in about 6 hours would probably be too long.

Can you do this with uv resin too?

You can try but coloring uv is different than coloring with epoxy. Epoxy dried on its own but uv needs light and sometimes if the color is too dark the light won’t penetrate so it won’t dry properly

Ohhhh that is a loaded question. As you do more and more resin you get the hang of it. But it is a rare joyous moment when you get it exactly right. 🤣 it is those moments I celebrate with a little dance. 🤭😆 Or the majority of the time I use the excess resin in my other molds so I don’t waste it. And make extra jewelry

Where did you get those molds? I have them but they are not that thick or is it the camera making it look thick?

$15 for earrings, $15 for necklace On my website I don't usually do a set with these guys. My website has so quirks I haven't figured out yet so I just get frustrated and just post them separately. But if I am at a craft fair I will say $25 for the set

So you add up all your material and the hours it took to make. Times that answer by 2 or 3 and you have your retail price. I ended up putting my jewelry business under another business I had made for another business I had made. Don’t know if that made sense. But I did make it into a corporation. Look at your secretary of your state and see how to do that. Every state is different
