They put in 2 different colors and probably didn’t want them to mix, and didn’t want to use 2 cups either

You should try sanding with 500-1200 grit. Makes them feel so much better, especially since it will be on your finger.

Push the object with another piece of wood through the cutting machine it's more even cut and you don't risk your fingers.
Where did you get your mold from?
Use a needle file kit and do some hand carving would turn out good. Machine made every time is repetitive.
