    Notice period should be max 1 month. For this thing Government should pass any law. We should be more competitive in salary, work and work culture. But 3 month notice period slows growth of employee and employer .

    Even after we resign due to XYZ reasons, it is very important to keep our next job details very private and serve the notice period peacefully. Cut down on communication, because that period is very dicey and a lot of things can instigate the employee towards abrupt behavior. And eventually affect the full and final settlement.

    I did the absconding, as the employer haven't left me any choice. I got COVID while working in the office from a co-worker, so I took 15 days leave (without pay) as my parents also got COVID from me, I have informed the director about my health and offered him the test results however he didn't want those and told other employees that I'm not attending office because I will quit the company. After 15 days when I joined again I found out that everybody got last month's salary except me. So I have to beg 3 times to get my salary. After this I have to endure regular insults from the director like I have spend a good 15 days holiday and I am not performing properly. So I just found a job within 7 days and quit the company without informing them.

A lot of IT companies are keeping notice period of 3 months just to prevent employees to get any offer outside (very few organisation like to take employees after 3 months). In most of the cases, the employee is not even have anything outstanding after 7-14 days . Is there anything for such employee to get an early release?

    Hello Sir, I joined College as a Lecturer on September 7th 2020. When I joined the probationary period was 1 year. Now I have finished 2 semesters. Next semester will start from October 4th and will end by January 15th 2022. Now they increased my probationary period 6 months more. In the appointment letter they mentioned, the resignation period is to finish minimum 3 semesters(18 months). So the notice period is 2 months before the last working day of 3rd semester. Otherwise I have to pay 2 months salary to take my documents back and leave. But I'm not getting, whether I should finish the probationary period( finishes by March 2022) mandatorily inorder to give the notice for resignation even after finishing 18 months of service? If so, by when can I give the resignation? Can you kindly enlighten about this with calculations and dates?

    My company appointed me in a school where i used to go and got paid by my company as school erp software was given by our company. After some time the school asked my employer if they are okay if we take me as full time employer, to which he said yes after taking my consent. That school recently (about 1 month after that talk with my employer) had a conversation with me about salary and all and also informed me that they will keep me from next month. My employer refused giving salary to me from the time he had a talk with the school regarding me. That means my two months salary is in danger. School is saying they haven’t cleared anything and will keep me from july only, employer is saying that as they had a talk with the school on april last week, they are not giving salary for the month of may and june offcourse. I Don’t know what to do now. Help me

I have filled one JOINING form at the time of company joinig but after converting full time, I havn't signed JOINING form and EMPLOYEE INVENTION & CONFIDENTIALITY AGREEMENT from as a part of onboarding. After 10 days of full time conversion I have send them resignation, Now They are saying that you have to serve 3 months notice period there is no negotiation in that. I asked them I havn't signed those forms but they are saying that you already accepted the offer letter in the beginig only and those forms are nothing, we just send those forms after converting full time empoyment. Now I want to leave the company without serving notice period what should I do?? Company's Notice Period policy: Should you wish to resign your employment, you will be required to provide 3 months written notice. e.If the company initiates the separation, the company will provide 3 months notice or basic salary of 3 months;

He gave me 2 options: a) Resign today (31-Jul) & get 2 months extra ex-gratia amount in additional to notice period, b) if I do not resign today & HR will take its action & may fire you, as some "threshold of 60 days bench period" is over. What shall I do? Pl guide.

    “Notice period depends on the duration mentioned earlier on the agreement or offer letter. For example, if an employee who has resigned has 3 months of notice period, as mentioned in the offer letter. The formula for calculating the recovery is: In case employee resigns (Basic/30 * Number of days recovery) 90 days in the above example, this becomes recovery. In case an employee is retrenched: (Gross/30 * Number of days payable) 90 days in the above example, this becomes payable to the employee.” Is above statement is correct? Please confirm it will help a lot of people
