Thanks tips. Buying a house next to a giant pile of garbage isn’t wise.
@Lillyofthevalley22210 ай бұрын
They literally signed a document acknowledging that there was a landfill there and that it could stay open for years! I would say that the verbal promise by the land developer was not wrong in stating that the landfill would eventually close. Nothing lasts forever, even landfill sites get full. It just might be another 50 years! This is so dumb, if I was a judge I would throw this case out!

I am sure she doesn’t buy drugs, cigarettes or tattoos either. Absurd comment. Many have choices on the street but the drug is to strong and too much fun for them to give up. This woman bought a house knowing it was built near a dump and a lot of street homeless people did drugs knowing it was bad for them.

Just shows how caring this city is, go back on the names of the councillors in this city who though it was a good idea. Why would you buy knowing the dump was right there? There is no shame to government greed, I remember when they opened the development and these people came by the bus loads. Developers crunch houses together so tight and the city loves those taxes.

The resident's dismay seems logical, but some of the dog eat dog solutions in the comment section here probably won't improve gross national happiness. With humanity's current technology we could scientifically plan communities to be a lot less toxic, and we could remove the bureaucracy associated with ALL Canadians ENSURING safe housing, clean water, healthy food, quality education, and full health care, while planning future development to be in harmony with the Earth and with each other.

@@steveswhirld Hi Steve. I read one of your recent comments on a previous news video about an indigenous woman dying of a drug overdose, you said something like, "good riddance". I found your input to be of poor taste and telling of your deficient upbringing. It's obviously not just you though, there are people in all sorts of positions of power throughout Canada who act caring to keep their jobs but are satisfied with the deaths and misfortune of citizens. I think this moronic narcissistic mentality is due to the insecurity of safe housing, clean water, healthy food, quality education, and full health care, while living out of harmony with the Earth and with each other. Our commodified survival warps us from a young age. So to unite and liberate all Canadians we should ensure those basics while planning future development to be in harmony with the Earth and with each other. I'm trying to create a system so most people (including you) can earn a living wage from the safety of their homes, so kids and parents can stay together and provide massive benefit to each other and the world. If you got this far, thanks for reading. All the best to you.
