Dude, that ending was so emotional, that was truly the end of an era, and yes I would love to see RE7 but ruined by mods (aka Mickey's Story in the "Baker" House, cause it left some questions unanswered, like did the RE7 but it's the Simpsons storyline didn't connect with the RE8 story?)

Man the ending to this game always makes me tear up, but props to shaggy for saving me from the tears.

i have a teory, if you put atention duke says that ethan is falling apart and later that he will never will come back to his normal life or something like that maybe he was already to weak and since he doesnt have the same regen level has other moldeds it would need more time to recover (or just went black ops with duke) and for the 7 thing in the documents you can read that the process once eve infect you goes in stages first you hear is voice, then alucination and with time she starts to take control (yes i know that the bakers become monster inmediatly but its RE logic so yeah) and the thing that is special is that ethan is the only caracter in RE7 and 8 ( that we know at least) that actually die so he is fully mold maybe in the next game we will learn more about ethan with im in a secundary rol because this is suposed to the end of his history
