Gods, this game makes my heart ache with memories of playing RE4 every day with my late dad for years. We sunk so many hours into that game together and got a PS2 just for the superior version of RE4. We played this so much that one day when he got home from work, he glanced at the planter barrel out front that looks almost identical to the barrels in RE4 and thought to himself, "I really hope there's shotgun shells in there, I think I'm running low." He realized how silly it was for that thought to creep up on him, came through the front door chuckling to himself and told me about it.

Wouldn't be out of place as a character creation theme for a From Software game

I miss this game so much thank you for bringing this to YT now i listen to this on repeat either when im doing school work or wanting to set the mood in my room with a nice shade, candle and some nice RE4 save music.

I still remember that day when my dad introduced me to this game on xbox360❤ Memories guys

I fell asleep to this and I dreamed I was in my or one of my family members future dream house. I joined my twin to swim in the pool. The atmosphere was pure nirvana, The sky was golden and the clouds filled with sunlight. As we swam we heard voices, we went to the wooden gate from where they came from and seen friends and family on the other side in their own pool playing water volley ball. One after another they started greeting us. Afterwards i went in the house on my side and looked in the fridge and got a soda and returned. As I was swimming in the pool it started draining. My first thought was to join the others on the other side. Then I woke up.

I started playing re4 although I'm not a fan of the controls, I do like it and this music is so smooth

I remember playing this game behind my parents back when I was 10 with my best friend who introduced me to it. We had only become friends a week or so before that. We're still like brothers and still keep in touch to this day. Also made three additional friends who I consider brothers, and I made these friends through this game. This will forever be my favourite third person shooter/horror out there. Not to mention I think the soundtrack still holds up, even with the remake being out and the OG being very outdated by this point Edit: I thought the remake was also up there, voice actor drama aside. [SPOILER ALERT] Also really hope we get to see Ashley become an agent as she herself hinted toward after the wrecking ball in the remake

this is my favorite save theme

I do have it for VR as well, and it was quite an experience. Probably the most fun I've ever had with RE4.

5 was okay but the AI of Sheva/Chris was awful at times and had a bit too much cheese combined with the action. 4 was cheesy but it's that kind of early 2000's cheese that we all can just laugh with rather than at. 6 is just a terrible action movie. Totally agree with you there.
