Honestly the moment I heard this music on my first Re2 remake play through I instantly had re4 feels, does anyone else feel that it is so similar?

Vaguely similar. I had RE2 classic vibes. Thought the remake is its own thing, this is the only song in the game that matches the somber ambient/industrial tone of the original game.

Yeah I come here to feel the nostalgia,this game was the sh*t back in 2019 and this soundtrack in particular brings me memories of the early months of 2019,don't know man this remake bring such a nostalgia even if it's only 3 years old

@@Killuwa. man I feel you,but we have still hope for an outbreak remake,so that we could finally explore more of raccoon city this time,its one of my dreams exploring every part of that city full of zombies and creepy monsters,loved the graphics of the remakes looks so real,this game was my sh*t back in 2019 and still play it nowdays some time

Kinda wish this was the new safe room music in general but since its only in one part of the game, its that much more unique

One part? Well the original safe room remix just there for a few secs. This is on a loop...in a save room actually...so i believe this is the actual save room for RE2.

Serenity vibes from RE 4 ❤️

My favorite part is the song of the infected in the background every so often.

This sound is my background music for when I'm reading a book...or going to sleep 💤

This track is basically a stripdown version of The Marshalling Yard 2nd Half, which is ironic because that's the song it replaced in the remake. Probably the only track that could hold its own compared to the original RE2's soundtrack.

i think re2make is generally more immersive ; compare RPD main hall themes side to side . re2make is consistently more deliberate and self enmeshed and polished . . that being said old re2 has crashy vibe that is unmatched in its own way , but you won't catch me listening to it . re2make is the nicer listen and more fitting soundtrack to me .

This ambience made me feel like: Its way too dangerous outside, but its safe for now, also the longer you stay safe the harder it is for you to go outside and fight. That's why i felt some kinda of deja vu the first time ive heard this, i was an introvert + the covid-19 lockdowns made me feel this way.

This is by far the coolest RE ambience in my opinion, really shows the desolate vibe when I first played RE2R

Cant believe this came out 4 years ago. I just moved to a new city about the size of RC, got a new job and brought this home day 1. And I absolutely loved it. I sure miss those days sometimes.

Для меня эта мелодия передавала состояние разума Клэр и Леона. Я ходил вокруг комнаты с развернутой на лицо персонажа камерой, следил за мимикой и представлял, что творится у них в голове, каким образом они переживают весь ужас вокруг... Я уже давно прошел игру, но зачастую включаю этот трек, когда нужно наладить свои мысли.

Да, этот трек - тоже постоянный член моего плей-листа. Помогает расслабиться и сосредоточиться, когда я отрабатываю сетапы в файтингах. Да и просто слушаю, завораживаясь интерпретацией мыслей, вызываемых данным ембиентом.

i got re2 remake on the switch. the very first time i got to the chess puzzle area, i purposely stayed around just to hear this.

I love this game.

I personally did not enjoy RE2 Remake, but I have to say it is a masterpiece. The music is part of that masterpiece. Thanks for sharing.

sometimes i solve this problem with a playlist and i put only one song in it then u should just turn on the replay list button and now u have an infinite version of a music :D

Goddess It’s the room where you’re solving the chess piece puzzle.. the save room RIGHT BEFORE you fight the crane Tyrant boss.

I'm pretty sure it is the room at the very bottom (south) of the Laboratory Map, East Area B1. Is is actually not separated from the small staircase that leads up from B2 (the one where a zombie falls down at you from above), so technically it doesn't really count as an own 'room' I guess. It lacks a number and a description on the map. You'll find ammo and one signal modulator here.
