What makes me love that moment even more is that the drop doesn't start the second Mr.X superhero lands in front of you. It actually starts 1 second after that to let the player process what just happened and react to it with a scream. The beat is in sync with the player's potential scream.

I just can't get over how absolutely amazing this OST is. Collapse and Last Judgement just encapsulate the entire feeling of 'oh shit' in music form.

I don't understand people saying RE2R soundtrack was bad or forgettable. That soundtrack slapped hard with 'Collapse' 'Last Judgement' and 'Looming Dread'.

Most of the soundtrack is ambience. You feel it, but don’t necessarily hear it like other compositions. More traditional BGM like this video gets more impact when you do hear it, but the drawback is that the soundtrack itself doesn’t feel as present as in other games such as Zelda or Final Fantasy

The strings when Last Judgement starts are so good, could listen to that opening on its own for hours, so epic and foreboding. Then the choir kicks in and oh man. Such an awesome theme for Mr X’s boss fight.

​@@benackermann6328 Just compare G1 and G2 compared to G3 and the Super Tyrant. I mean, G3 is annoying as all hell, but it is damn good boss that you want to keep trying no matter how hard it gets.

This definitely a song to listen to while your being chased by anomalies while your trying to escape.

3:04 the best part for me

Mr X was one of the most threatening and terrifying things I have encountered. He is a zombie compared to the tyrant that is coming up next.....

Re2 remake only has 3 good tracks. Original soundtrack qas superior which is why majority use the classic soundtrack for 90% of the game. Only good Remake tracks are collapse, hunks theme and expansion cause its actual tracks that dont die out in 15 seconds. Capcom always does dumb decisions.
