I personally liked Jake because he was Wesker's son and it was fun to be able to do Albert's sprint attacks, even though 6 wasn't survival horror at all.

Am I the only RE fan that absolutely loved RE6? I really think it's the change the series needed to advance. The old characters written in a way that we never need see them again, the set-up for Wesker's return and a new Dante-esque character we can love cuz Devil May Cry is over.

Nope. I liked RE6. The combat to me was fun, and the areas we get to explore were fun to fight in. I believe that Chris, and hell all the characters had interesting story arcs and dilemmas, except for Leon. Still being all stoic and crap. I really don't like the praise for Leon because he has next to no development as a character. I like the older RE games and the new ones. If people hate the series so much. Then don't play it. I hate it when people complain for the sake of complaining.

I enjoyed it but I see why people disliked it so much.

I'm one of the 7% that like Albert Wesker, apparently... couldn't chose Barry, so I chose my favorite Resident Evil villain.

Jake is a Badass character
