Resident Beavis (2003 Flash Animation)

Due to an accident Beavis has found himself trapped in Racoon City and has stumbled upon the Racoon City Police Department where things are about to get weird.
To everyone who has ever been a fan of this video I am sorry that I never finished the series. There are many reason but the main one is that my website started gaining significant popularity (it was featured in a segment on G4TV) at the time that I created this. Between that and struggling through high school (not to mention absurd amounts of weed smoking) I just didn't have the time.
The rise in popularity was due in part to this video and also because Ebaum (back when he actually worked at Ebaums) contacted me about adding Resident Beavis to his website. In return I requested that he add a link to my site to the front page of Ebaumsworld for a limited period of time. This skyrocketed my daily traffic and my website got featured in brief segment on G4TV which caused me to refocus all my efforts on my website.
Anyways, with no one around (with skills I needed) to help me manage creating new animations and the website at the same time I had to pick one thing and give it 100% and I chose the website because it was actually bringing in a little bit of money at the time. This was a long time ago, back when ClappingFetus.com and Ebaumsworld.com were competitors full of weird and funny videos. Now my website is basically just a small personal rarely updated blog.
I did start work on a sequel but it never went beyond a concept phase. Afterwards I trickled out a few more animations and then I shifted all of my focus to website duties, graphic design, and I started making music videos. Now days I still update the site from time to time (very rarely) and sometimes I will upload video projects here.

Outline for Episode 2 that never came to be.
The idea was to have the 2nd episode start off with a lot Castlevania references, maybe even feature Dracula's castle at the beginning. Eventually Beavis would fight the boss as Alucard but the boss would escape. Afterwards he would encounter a resurrected Butt Head (shown to be resurrected in a flashback by Dr. Wily who happens to have a syringe full of the T-Virus).
With the 2 reunited they would have encountered Dr Light again who would have transformed them into either Billy and Jimmy from Double Dragon or Rash and Zits from Battle Toads. After this point there would be many memes and comedy bits leading to an eventual showdown with The Boss who would ultimately be defeated.
The end of episode 2 would have the two boys briefly talk about going to get some Nachos before Butt Head starts having some strange electrical sparks shooting out of his neck (remember he was decapitated). Then his eye would start glowing red and he would begin groaning. Insinuating that he is not who he seems to be and could possibly be a Zombie and/or Robot.

I don't know what's cooler, the fact that I found this again after so long, or the fact that the channel I would find this on just so happens to be the actual creator of the video so many years ago.

1:52, I have been looking all over for this because I kept remembering just that part (along with the other cool stuff too)...and shit, I forgot he was 'The Boss' LOL XD Thanks for uploading it here, it's fun to go down memory lane!

It's been 20 years. And it's still a legendary piece of the early internet.

I remember trying to watch this on our shitty computer back in high school and could never finish it because AOL couldn't load it in time haha.
Maan this is the exact animation that got me INTO animation. Finally found it! I remember only up to 2:30 because my internet is so slow that it cant load pass that
I think I should make a sequel and prequel to this someday.

Hey clappingfetus! Thanks for bringing this back to the internet. You made my child self laugh way more than should be legal. Question: do you know the source of the version of ‘ O Fortuna!’ playing with Dr Light? I’ve been having earworm flashbacks for years. Hope the cynicism has evolved into some new forms of hideous humor, and continues to torment our wretched lives for some time to come.

@@salarzx62090 probably not man. I was just a teenager smokin joints, going to school, and teaching myself flash animation when I made that. A perfect mindset for making something Beavis and Butthead related. lol I would probably taint it with my old man cynical sense of humor these days. I actually started work on a 2nd one right afterwards but it never made it beyond a concept phase and some art assets, all of which are lost to time on old dead hard drives. I did make a few other animations on Newgrounds after that though before moving on to website shit and music videos.

@@salarzx62090 First off the the prequel would have probably been scrapped completely. It was pretty good, but I don't think it was quite as good as the last season they made. Seeing them make fun of dumbass MTV shows like Teen Mom and Jersey shore was genuinely funny. Don't get me wrong. The movie was funny and I genuinely was entertained. I just don't think it was quite as good as the show because there's no scenes of them doing commentary over video footage which is some of their funniest stuff. Also the 5-10 minute short format really works in their favor. My favorite part in the movie was when they went into the gender studies class. Seeing their reactions and the aftermath after learning about "white privilege" was one of the funniest fucking things in the whole movie. I also loved the smart Beavis and Butt-Head from the alternate dimension. Also the scene where Beavis envisions that woman as his barbarian girlfriend was pretty entertaining too. Overall its like 6.5 or 7 out of 10 for me.

@@Clappingfetus Haha didn't expect a fast reply. Everything you mentioned was my favorite parts of the movie and it's true, the movie isn't suppose to be as great as the shows. My gripe with this one is that we only see cameos of the supporting characters of the original show. It was such a missed opportunity to not have an older version of Stuart, Tom Anderson, Mr. Van Driessen, Daria, Coach Buzzcut, and Principal McVicker. Overall, it was a fun ride and I like how anyone can pick up and enjoy it even if they have never heard of Beavis and Butthead before.

@@vaddix9980 I'm sorry man but I doubt it. If started making new animations again they would be very different. Still funny, but far more mature, cynical, and edgy. There is no way I can put myself back into that care free goofy teenager mindset to do it justice. I started a new full time office job recently and I have 3 kids so I really don't have the time to do it. If I did decide to make something new it would have to be something I was really personally motivated by. I will never forget my past but I must look forwards not backwards.

@@Clappingfetus of course. That makes total sense. I don't think it would have to be back in that mindset if you still have the original second episode video you posted. Just a couple of tweaks and some additions and you could give your fans a sequel they waited 20 years for. I know a lot of people would love to see it one day.

@@vaddix9980 Unfortunately there is nothing to tweak. It doesn't exist in video form. Also just for clarification it would technically be episode 3. This video is episode 1 and 2 combined, it was a special version I made for Ebaumsworld because Ebaum emailed me requested that I combine them and add some Ebaumsworld presents shit at the beginning. (It has been edited back out of this version. In hindsight I think he was just trying to take credit for it by demanding his website be added to the intro just to be featured.) Anyways, only the outline or general idea exists in my head along with some art assets that are gone now. Everything that existed with regard to project files n such are on hard drives that are dead and gone in a landfill somewhere now unfortunately.
