Designed by DFJ architects, the house prioritizes panoramic views and the creation of weather-protected spaces. The house is organized around a central courtyard, providing an open yet sheltered outdoor area with a pool at the rear. Using high-quality materials like brass, concrete, and blackbutt wood, Coolamon House combines rusticity and elegance, featuring a cantilevered concrete slab that appears to float above the vegetation. In addition to the main suite, there are auxiliary guest accommodations, a garage, storage room, and office, ensuring functionality and comfort for its residents and visitors.
