I remember watching this at the time it was broadcasted on TV, and I was stunned at Reema’s utter inability to control her jealousy and being so cheap. I remember feeling embarrassed at the pettiness in our industry, and women pandering to men with this spectacle. I also remember Resham was always the eloquent speaker, with relevant poetry at her beck and call. I saw Reema transforming right before my eyes over time, learning and reciting poetry in every interview since Resham came in. Reema is still such an artificial person, one never feels she’s being her genuine self.

@@abeerzahra2427 thats absolutely true. Resham had been best performer. She was fashion icon and her dialogue delivery is very good. She showed best performance of her life in film Janaat Ki Talash and Tarap. Resham and Babar ali ki Jeeva Reema aur babar ali ki tamam films per bhari rahi. People still listen Jeeva songs. Babar ali Refused to work with Resham and lost two big movies of its time like Shamim Ara Tapish and syed Noor Aarzoo with Resham. Babar ali left both films in the middle. Bcs Reema was not happy. But Shamim Ara and syed noor refused to replace Resham with Reema as script was written for Resham. Both the films were shelved. Later Syed Noor and Babar ali confessed that Reema played safely and very smartely. She snatched many good films from Meera and Resham and claimed she refused to work In Khilona and Jeeva sangam. In fact. Munda Bighra Jaye was first offered to Resham. But later on Reema signed many films babar ali. How come she was taken in all the films with babar ali after blockbuster Jeeva in which Resham babr ali pairs went hit and was apperciated alot.
