@@trevoryoshida4961 SO its seems for models 2013 and below you have to take into the dealership, they have a tool that hooks up to the computer chip inside. Very bad design, imo an attempt for dealership to get more people in for repairs and such.

Don't try on a Civic 2012, it doesn't have that option "TPMS Calibration"

Did you ever find how ro clear it? Looks like 2012 have to be done at the dealership and that like $400. Mines is now a continuous blinking beeping noice.

I have a 2013 Honda Civic lx direct tpms with sensors in each wheel and need to drive to recalibrate for light to go out. If I’m not mistaken the process you showed is a direct system and not a indirect system. Please correct me if wrong. Thanks

For those wondering 12-13 civics don’t have the tpms calibration option on the imid display so far based on what I know only 14-15 civics came with that feature and I’m talking about 9th gen civics ofcourse

Instead of TPMS there is a DEFLATION menu point, try this

Can you actually check tire pressure or no?

Do you have to fix the tire pressure first then customize on the settings or you do it even when tire pressure is needed

I have done this a couple of times. The last time I did it, not only did it reset my TPMS system but for some reason, it also reset my oil life to 100%. Anyone else have this problem?

Hey I did the same thing but after a few minutes it will give me an alert. And I also just got good tires. I have a friend that said it may have been the sensor

Could be a bad battery in sensor. If it is you have to take it to a tire shop: about 65 a tire to replace.

What if initiate calibration option is not there?

I think this is for an indirect TPMS. On my 2013 with direct TPMS sensors it doesn't have the calibrate option on the screen.

You have indirect tp s system. No tpms sensors but speed sensors... Just put proper tire pressure then drive car.

@@carlomango407 the sensors aernt the problem. we would be getting an error code if so. The tpms needs to be reset everytime a tire goes low. even when u fill it up...it wont go away.

IF YOU DON'T SEE IT IN THE MENU!! ⚠️ check the PSI for your tires on the side of the door once you open it! It says it there! And put the proper air! That's how I fixed mine after weeks!!
