Hi Rachell, since you have difficulty making up your mind. Why dont you hire a pro to decorate your space? It may be a bit pricy but definitely beats the frustration of getting something you are not happy, having to return it, or loosing your money. They ask you the right questions, they will show you what it would look like and you will be happy in the long run. Alexandra Gater is excellent and i dont think she is oit of your budget. She works with small budgets and does beautiful work. I highly recommend her. You may know her. She has a KZread channel. There are others as well, but dont know how expensive they are.

The way to decorate with color is with your accents, like pillows and small items. You can keep your pallet neutral (sofa, rug) but by adding accents you can change the colors easily without having made a commitment on the larger items.

I wouldn't worry so much about going colorful. Mostly neutral is gooinspiration. You do neutrals well. Maybe add one deeper darker neutral to give interest. I love how XO Macenna uses neutral dark colors to add depth. She might be a good source for inspo. I like the blue things that you have, so maybe that direction?

I always slice my watermelon up when I buy it and put it in a container in the fridge! You will snack on it and serve it up all the time when it is cut ready to go 👍

Some friendly advice: dont rush with your decorating & think things through before purchasing. Also if you can, go to a furniture store & browse & get some inspiration.

And try a modern tv unit with a modern crystal fireplace inside. So cozy for DC winters

Your Plant is actually ok. The yellow leaves are just the old ones. Cut them off and water only when the soil is dry 3/4. if the new growth are green and happy then everything is ok ❤😊
