I remember during my school days there were 6 so-called under caste students in my class. We studied in the same class from class 4 to class 10. We went to the same school and were taught equally by the same teachers. One of them was my bench mate. I agree with the fact that their forefathers were discriminated against. Now, explain to me how logical it is to provide special privileges to them just because their previous generations were discriminated against while receiving equal education and other opportunities these days. I am against caste discrimination but I am also equally against these present days reservation systems based on caste.

@@angellost8605 First of all, my point is not the eradication of the reservation system but I am focusing on better management of it. The reservation systems should not be based on caste system but we should rather focus on 1. Economic status of people and 2. Quality of education and oppurtunities that one has been privileged with. Now, speaking about economic status, according to Nepal Government the current poverty rate of Nepal is 18.7% but various sources has claimed it to be well over 25%. These people under the poverty line come from all ethnicity. Brahmins,Chettri, Janajati Dalits everyone are under this poverty line. Now, explain to me why should a Janajati having multiple houses in big cities of Nepal be privileged with reservation while a Brahmin under the poverty line is deprived of it? And about the opportunities, let me state the fact that according to census of Nepal 2068 B.S., 17.07% of people reside in urban area while the rest are in rural areas. We all know that oppurtunities are greater in urban areas. We are blessed with facilities like internet good education good healthcare and all. Rural areas can further be categorized. There are areas where people are still deprived of transportation and electricity. People from these rural areas automatically find it difficult to compete against urban people. Why should a Dalit or a Janajati persuing his/her education in a reputed school in Kathmandu be privelaged with reservation while a Brahmin of very rular area is deprived of it??

I support reservation for bachelor but is it okay for post gratuade. It is okay to give reservation for bachelor in medicine but is it necessary after being doctor . Now he/she is doctor then also is it necessary after that also??I think only capable should do PG then only our health sector will uplift. And there is not only reservation for dalit there are many reservation for janjati,madeshi kota and other also. Among those 100 seats 50 seats are reserved but think about it you're competing with 100000(1 lakh) people just for 100 seats then how difficult it is in the 1st place itself. & if the seats are reduced from 100 to 50 then does that makes any difference to the difficulty level??🤔🤔 But imagine if there are 1K seats instead of 100 for which 1 lakh (100000) people are competing. If 50% seats are reserved then you'd write the exam for 500 seats but otherwise you were writing for 50 seats 😌 So,I just wanna clarify that it's not right to blame reservation for Unemployment or anything. If the exams are so competitive & seats are so less then this problem is of our education 👨‍💻👩‍💻✍✍system. Ask the government to build more universities, colleges, schools so that the seats can be increased. 🙏🙏🙏This is Only for wise people. Isn't your view kind of one-sided? Even if I was born in Brahmin family, my family wasn't privileged, they struggled to make ends meet, I am not joking. They were certainly Brahmin but poor, I have a recollection of a guy coming to my house to talk to my grandpa and refusing to sit on the mat saying "hajur bahun parnu vo" I fcuking hated that word. I''m not saying they chose to be lower cast, My family never discriminated anyone under cast or privileged. Being Brahmin doesn't mean we are shit rich or privileged. FF 20 years I missed couple of opportunities because of KOTA system, but I never went against it, because I know history and its shit stains. Everything is not black and white, there is a small gray area no one talks about, and it feels sad. Yes I was able to touch whoever I wanted, so where did that get me? NOWHERE. This show is one of my favorite show on YT, so the half-assed and rushed opinion of Prakriti is bland and sad. I appeal to you, do your research properly and come to the camera without having a bias. Or at least address about the gray area. Thank you.

Disagree with this point our grandparents got privileged and their don't, my parents and grandparents were born in one of the rular area of nepal kalikot , where my mother have to walk 1km for just 1 gagri water they are all uneducated and suffer economic problems back then, now tell me how we were is my privileges being brahmin doesn't mean we are privileged, Note : dissatisfied with system not people ❤ And this is only my point of view

Poignant opinion,there are a lot of places I agree with you. But I would like to add casteism is not the simplest of things to understand and even more complex to resolve. But a sole reservation system based only on caste is flawed no matter how you see it. Imagine a multimillionaire "madhesi" getting a scholarship based on his caste. Does he need it? Are there others who deserve it? Stereotypes on castes that the "lower" caste are all backward is a major flaw. So, if one wants this conversation based solely on caste, one needs to shift perspective. There must be a more holistic approach to this, not everything is black and white, and if one believes it is then sorry they're in the dark. Edit: PS. I'm not saying to remove quota system but rather give quotas based on different criteria alongside caste and not only caste.

Well nowadays you need to complete your secondary education( grade 8-10) from a governmental school and also need a recommendation letter from your local level stating your economic condition to fill up any quota reservation. I think these new regulations will prevent the misuse of quotas to a greater extent.

@@yghhgy2547 yes this is exactly the kind of approach that is needed. There might be flaws in the system but taking a big picture approach is required instead of just caste. So my point is not getting rid of the quota but rather adding on it to make it more robust.

@@sambeg2 We have a certain group of community who were oppressed for so long and the conditions arent well even in the present date, i think we still need time to heal but i agree we cant keep this sort of reservation in the future.

Reservations are not the problem unemployment is The inability tk genrate opportunity is but yes taking others opportunities might give satisfaction for their inability

"दलित भएर तिमीले कोठा पाएनौं र म बाहुन क्षेत्रि भएर कोटा पाईन"- भन्नेहरुलाई मेरो केही गुनासो। हामी बाहुन भएर कोटा पाएनौँ रे। त्यै त, सदियौँदेखी तपाइँहामीले धारामा पानी भर्न जाँदा कुटाइ खान पनि पाएनौँ। माथिल्ला भनिएका जातको घरमा काम गर्न जादाँ अलग्गै भाडाँ, भुँइमा अलग्गै बस्ने व्यवस्थाको लाभ लिन पनि पाएनौँ। मन्दिर जाम कि नजाम, भित्र पसम कि नपसम भनेर सोच्न नि कैले परेन। तमाम देखिने दुर्व्यवहार र झट्ट नदेखिने अपमानका भारीले थिचिँदै "म दलित या जनजाती भएर किन जन्मेछु" भनेर धिक्कार्न पनि पाएनौँ। छिमेकीको घरमा विवाह पुजाआजा, समारोहमा अरु ठुला भनिने सबै जात जादाँ र सहभागि हुँदा आफूलेँ परैबाट कैले हेर्न पाइएन। समारोहमा आउँदा छोइन्छ भनेर घरमै खानेकुरा नि कसैले ल्याइदिएनन। के गर्नु जहाँ गएनी भान्छे नै हुन पर्यो। जता गएनी हर्ताकर्ता हुन पर्यो। टुक्रुक्क छेउमा बसेर कैले हेर्न पाइएन। स्कूल पढ्दा पनि कहिल्यै छुटाएर बस्न परेन। ठुला पद, शक्ति र सत्तामा पुग्दा पुग्दा थाकियो। कहिल्यै 'लुगा मात्र सिएर' बस्न पाइएन। आफ्ना छोरीचेलीमाथि यौन दुर्ववहार हुँदा ठिकै छ ती ठुला जात हुन्, माफी मागे हुन्छ भनेर बस्ने आरक्षण नै कहिले भएन। पुलिसले पनि कुरा मिलाइदिइ मात्र रह्यो। कहिल्यै हामीलाई हामी जस्तै रगत शरीर र बनावट भएकाले हेपे, पिटे, ज्यादती गरे, सुनपानी छर्के भन्दै आन्दोलन गर्न हिँड्न परेन। छोरोले ठूलो जातकि केटी भगायो भनेर छोरो कहिल्यै गुमाउन परेन। न कहिले काभ्रेको अजित मिजार बन्न पाइयो न दुई वर्ष अघि मात्रै कालिकोट नरहरिनाथ पालिकाकी दलित महिला वडा सदस्य भैखान पाएर पनि धारो छुँदा कुटिएर मर्न पर्यो। न त निर्वाचनका बेला प्रयोग भै पछि भित्तामा पुर्याउने कोटा नै प्राप्त गरियो। हरेक पल दिमागमा मलाइ कसैले हेप्छ कि, ज्यादती गर्छ कि त्याँ छोएँ भने कर्के आँखा र खास्खुस सुन्न परिहाल्छ कि भन्ने सोच्न नि पाइएन। न त गाउँ ठाउँमा खाजा पसल खोल्छु भन्ने आँट गर्न पर्यो, जात थाहा पाए त्यै कारणले कोही ग्राहक नआउन सक्छन् , घाटा हुन्छ बरु अरु व्यापार गरम भनेर सोच्न नि परेन । पलपल कहिले ठाडै त कहिले झट्ट नदेखिने गरि अपमानित हुने अवसर नै पाइएन। "आफूँ मरेसी डुमै राजा" भन्ने जस्तै उखान बाहुनक्षेत्रीका नाममा कहिल्यै बनेन। मज्जा आउथ्यो नि सुन्नलाई। आफुँभन्दा धेरै साना उमेरकाले पनि कथित तल्लोजात भएकैले "ल दाइ यसो गर्देउ त" भनेको कैले सुन्न परेन। जस्ले नि मान मात्र गरिरहे, तपाइँहजुर भनिरहे। कति भन्नू थाकियो। सरकार! बाहुन भनौदाहरू सदियौँ देखि पिछडिएका छन् । जातकै कारणले हेपिएका छन् । जातकै कारणले मारिएका छन् । हामीलाइ कोटा दे सरकार। हामीमाथि घोर अन्याय भयो। याद राख्नुहोस् पढेलेखेका महोदय, दलित शब्दका नाममा कोटा खाने सबै भ्रष्ट कथित क्षेत्रीबाहुनहरु नै हुन्। दलितलाई कुनै विशेष जाती र सम्प्रदायको परिसुचक अनि परिचय नबनाउनुहोस। किनकि दलित भनिएका मैले धेरै उच्च मानिसहरू देखेको छु र अरूको आश्रयमा भएका बाहुन क्षेत्री जनजाति भनौदाहरु पनि देखेको छु। वास्तवमा त हामी र हाम्रो देश पनि त अन्य देशहरुमा आश्रित छ। यो अर्थमा त देशनै दलित भयो त। कसैले गलत वा गल्ती गर्छ भने उसको व्यक्तित्वमा सवाल गर्ने हो तर उसको सम्प्रदायमा बिल्कुलै हैन। 'मान्छे' त हामी छदै छौं 'मानिस' पनि बनौं। कसैलाई मनमा लाग्न गए माफी पाउ, सत्य यही हो। 🙏🙏। #Share

45% scholarship seat haru matra reservation ko lagi rakheko cha 100% ma. Tesma pani caste hierarchy ma so called higher place ma parne Khas arya haru lai 17% cha jaba bhane Dalit lai 9%. Ani fheri pani quota ma padhna ko lagi afu sachikai garibi ko rekha muni bhako bhanera dekhaunu parcha aile tah plus schooling pani government ko school batai hunu parcha. So koi janajati ra dalit bhayekai karan uniharu ley padna paye chai hudaina hai ajkal.
