Finding one extinct animal is enough to put your name in the history books.. Forest was able to find MULTIPLE previously thought to be extinct animals alive and well.. His goal was to show people and scientists alike that nature is far my resilient than we give it credit for and the process we use to label an animal extinct just because we haven’t seen it in a while or only saw it once is ridiculous. He truly accomplished his mission and went further beyond his expectations and I’m sure his Grandfather would be very proud of him.

The minute the fishermen got a few dollars and the cameras left, these guys went right back to catching and keeping any and every shark they caught, including any more specimens of Pondicherry Shark. @@drakken04 Sure, I can appreciate what you're saying, but where I live we had/have a creature by the name of the Tasmanian Tiger. Furthermore Megalodon is also declared extinct, yet there are people, who didn't even know what a Megalodon was, who have seen one.
