A presentation of CaribeSur´s Project to Rescue the Data on Marine Biodiversity in Venezuela, made during the Biodiversity Information for Development Showcase Symposium, a GBIF (Global Biodiversity Information Facility) and European Union hosted event, held in Brussels during the 25th and 26th of September 2023, that brought together key stakeholders, and representatives from funded projects, to reflect on the progress made by the Biodiversity Information for Development (BID) programme and to showcase its strength and impact, and explore its future needs and priorities.
