Rescue from fall arrest lanyards. Access Techniques Ltd

This Is a couple of ways of rescuing a casualty from fall arrest. Other exist for different situations.
We Train all IRATA levels every week in our 15 meter high indoor training centre in Sheffield. 5 minutes from the train station, and 1 hour by train from Manchester Airport.

    i trained to do level 2 rescue i was the unlucky one that i got a 18 stone south African i did do the rescue only just thank god i never had to use it at work good stuff mate i made very good living

    snatch rescue guessing level 2 definately not 1 which is from a descender by the way i am only level 1

    @@connorgreene67 Potential for subjecting the carabiners to torsion. Which is a force they are not designed to be dealt. That being said, it is not ideal nor the best practice but it does get the job done. A better solution would be a quick-draw or two carabiners with a small sling between them.

    Who in their right mind wears fall arrest on the front, was designed to be installed on the rear of the workers harness, making this video a joke.

    don´t know about your harnass but from the pezl avao site: Sternal attachment point: fall arrest system attachment Dorsal attachment point: fall arrest system attachment so both can be used, but will depend on your harnass
