If you notice, all the puppies are also pittie mixes, and while puppies do tend to get adopted super fast a lot of places, they tend to be the last ones and in overcrowded kill shelters they can be put to sleep, even though they are puppies. I have a feeling they might be taking in dogs from those sort of situations.

Really he should not be at work for a few weeks after that surgery. It can take many months to recover, even more than a year. Very difficult once you need a full x-lap surgery.

@@r8chlletters he probably figured with a chatty desk job he could be fine. careful but fine. And we know Evie's watching out for him, he's pointed her out of to the side a couple of times this week. lol

It's hard thing because they try to get puppies out of shelters asap because they become sick super easily in those conditions. They both need proper screen time.

Yes!! Please do more with the vintage puppies- they have a MUCH harder time getting adopted but they have SO MUCH LOVE TO GIVE. They’ll change your life and fill it up with so much joy. 💜💜💜💜💜

Yes, me, too. And I wish Stephen focused on NYC dogs from NYCACC, which are kill shelters, and not just North Shore, which is no kill. I hope these comments will be read by his staff.

We adopted mostly adult/seniors dogs from Blind Dog Rescue Alliance!! These are some of the BEST dogs you will ever meet. Many are rescued from kills shelters and/or bleeders who have no use for blind or visually impaired dogs.

Yay! So happy to see a senior dog. Seniors rule! I've fostered many dogs and the best were the seniors.

Jason is not only a good looking Hawaiian, more importantly he loves our Aina and is very involved with our culture. A lot of Baywatch episodes were filmed at Haleiwa Alii Beach Park on Oahu’s North Shore. 🌺

So many shelter animals in need of homes. Please support these shelters!

Dogs over one year old have a harder time getting adopted, and many suffer from depression the longer they’re in shelter which only makes them harder to adopt. They aren’t sparkly and bouncy like the younger dogs who just got there. Wonderful work. ❤️

I looked up “Baby New Year stop motion”, and got “Rudolphs Shiny New Year 1976” - I had no idea this existed and now I’m not sure if I should watch it, because I love stop motion and the old Rudolph special, but sequels and all things made in the 70s can be real hit or miss. I don’t want to traumatize my inner child. … Also: (A) Clockwork Orange vibes? How so?

You can go to any shelter and adopt an older dog. They’re not just on a TV show and if you’re interested in honey, go to the North Shore animal league and see if she’s still available.

I was so happy to see them feature an older dog at the end! As wonderful and important as it is to make rescuing/adopting cool period, it is the adults - especially seniors - who truly need our help. If we can make rescuing adults and seniors cool, it will also cut down on the overpopulation problem that leads to pet homelessness in the first place. Everyone wants a puppy or kitten, so more puppies and kittens are bred.
