►Christine Marquez got her first look at Franky when people in her neighborhood started posting photos of the strange-looking animal, who’d been wandering around Whittier, California, for the past several weeks.
Franky was actually a coyote - albeit a very sick one. He had a severe case of mange, a contagious skin condition caused by parasites burrowing into his skin, and he’d lost almost all his fur.

Shit I just saw a coyote like this today and didn’t even recognize it as a coyote. I was trying to help the animal and then a man in the neighborhood assured me it was a coyote and to stay away. At this point I lost the animal. I want to find this animal and help it so bad.

Anyone who says thank you for rescuing him, must live in the city and watched a bunch of Fake Disney movies as a kid. All while not knowing what these things can do to your live stock, animals and small pets (dogs and cats). Utter fantasy land people live in and all feel good bs. Kind of like people who eat meat but squirm when see a hunting video.
