I did mention things to bring ko Res in my Res tour video... If you'll be staying on campus, bring extension cord, stove, fridge, to say the least

You're such a life saver indeed🥺❤️I applied for language practice and so far it's promising..might be going there next year ..atlist I now know what to expect 😭😂lol the issue of water is the one giving me some headache😭😂😂but the rooms are not bad at all❤️❤️

Well nsfas pays for your year's worth of accomodation, gives you R1575 each month living allowance and once off R5400 book allowance

This is "res admin" at soshanguve south campus right?? Am accepted for legal support,so when I try to apply for residence it only shows two options which is "pta building 44" and "res admin"..

Yes, res admin is at sosha campus, it's not the Res name though, just a placeholder

No, that building is at Pretoria campus... I only clued up on soshanguve campus and res

Hi I'm a 1st year student and my NSFAS has not been processed yet and I paid the registration fee and registered so now idk whether I must pay the res fees....

Yes pay for Res too, once your nsfas approves, you'll apply for refund in Dec, then they'll pay you back tour academic registration fee

You buy your own baby, same applies with heater and any other electrical appliance you might need. You literally just get a desk, chair, bed and closet... How you decorate and modify your room is entirely up to you.

There are alot of off campus accomodations, you'll see them when you get here. You'll be spoilt for choice

Unfortunately, no ... However you can opt for not registering for on camp Res, that way you can register for any other res you want. JUST MAKE SURE YOU DON'T REGISTER FOR ON CAMP RES

There was during COVID but now the only curfew is for visitors, no visitors before 10 Am and no visitors after 10pm, unless on weekends where your visitor can leave Ka 12am

Yes, but for students that excel in their studies, you can be moved to a single room ka second year if you did great in your academics

Nope, we only have stations where you can wash your dishes, but the cooking and warming up of food is done in your room
