People saying image quailty is poor. The recording quality is good enough to prove your innosence in a crash or other situation. Its why we have these is for proof. blurry image or Not we can still see who was at fualt or what occured during an accident. Thats all that matters with these cheap dash cams.

Image quality not bad for that price. Watch on computer not on dashcam (processor not able). Can't automatically erase files. Select a max of 3 mins recording. And format when prompted by an "sd card plenty" message. For rear camera use better another plate cam. If you can connect to permanent 12v better. So you can switch off dash but stills recording both cameras. About movement detection it needs a good adjustement on inner parts. A good reviewed firmware would be a must. Cheap dash cam usable with a minimum of knowkedge.

Hello! How is the image reflected in the mirror (the glass)? Is there any diference (maybe a darker image) between this and a classic rear mirror?

I got a similar one with the camera on the left. To point the camera infront (as the camera itself wouldn't turn enough) I had to twist the mirror and I couldn't see out the rear screen.

Sold! Headed to amazon....

how do you activate the secondary camera (rear camera)? I plugged it on the AV input but nothing happened, only the front cam is on display.

HI there, first of all I really want to thank you for your review. Thanks to you I was able to install my rear view camera. Now if you don't mind I have a question for you. The back camera or rear camera is blurry and I don't know how to correct the focus. It is there a problem with the camera installation maybe or is there any way to correct the focus from the rear mirror itself. I would appreciate your help. Thank you again Tony

This is a great product, and, I thank you for your detailed review. What I like: Display is on the right side of the mirror; Camera on mirror works great, and, it worked in English right out of the box. Improvements: Blue tint on mirror is not very helpful; DVR screen should have a brightness control, as it is not bright enough during the day; Be able to change the date format, as it is only yyyy/DD/MM; Instructions for installing the rear camera. Other than that, this unit works VERY well, and I highly recommend it.

Very true.. The daytime brightness leaves a lot to be desired!! It needs to be 10X brighter than it is.. Aside from that, I really like the camera!! Wish I could figure out how to mount the rear cam in my pickup trk!!

I added mine to my 03 Frontier. I found a grommet near the rear of the cab and pushed the wires through, then ran the wire on the inside of the frame rail, and back to the rear license plate. But, the cable is short, so I would think that a regular full size truck would be a problem. Not sure if you can extend that cable, but, I am sure there is a way.

I agree on all of your comments - right on with my experience. My only shortcoming is that it doesn't run while the car is turned off. As soon as power is interrupted to the cigarette lighter, it powers down. I would prefer it run while I"m in the store in case someone hits my car. I have yet to figure out what the motion detection does - if anything?

Seems like a good idea, but from that video, no way would I buy this. Pretty poor image quality. My elcheapo 720 was better than this.

Question: Can this be used as a back up camera only? Meaning, if its turned off and I go into reverse will it switch on the screen or does it have to be powered on in order to use it in that way?

This mirror has the front facing camera on the wrong side for RHD cars. The camera will not angle right far enough before it hits the OEM mirror and will record the black mesh shield on the screen around the mirror mount. If it has an internal GPS antenna it will be very laggy. Suggest buy mirror with socket for external GPS antenna and even better a quad core processor such as A33 instead of the single core A10.

They make one for your application. While I am LH Drive here, the vendor assured me that they have one for RH drive cars. I also do not recommend the newer versions with the 5" display. While that is great, it distracts from your using of the mirror because the screen is in the middle.

Just want to know whether it is possible to switch of the video and still maintain the recording for the Anytek t6 model.

I have had this for almost two years now, still works fine. The image isn't that good, especially on nights. But you get what you pay for. Peace and love!

Hi. Do you know how i can set it to turn on automatically when i turn my ignition on, it used to do it before prior to me inserting a memory card in it.

I have one of these you just plug it in the cigarette lighter and there you go really useful it didn't come with a memory card but they're really cheap to buy fitting took about 10 minutes

what battery do i need. mine has stopped charging

I've tried this product. The only issue with it is that the lens get out of focus when the camera gets overheated i.e. when you park your car under direct sun. When it cools down, the focus gets back to normal. Otherwise, it's a very good value for money spent.

I’ve got one and have had a red padlock with a line through it come up with a message (can’t remember what it says). Is it to do with the memory card?

Does the parking monitor work? I am confused. There are 2 options on the menu. Motion Detection and Parking Monitor. I have Parking Monitor enabled, but Motion Detection disabled. Reason it is disabled is because when it's enabled, I'm only able to record 10 secs when driving. Which is weird. When I have it enabled and parked, I try to pass my hand in front of the camera, but it won't record. Mine is a Remax brand but I'm sure they are similar inside. I look forward to your response. Ton Duong FYI bought one myself and you need to have power to the camera itself, using the red wire from the camera which needs power from a reversing light (you will probably find the red wire is a bit short). Once you connect it, whenever the reversing lights get power (while in reverse) the rear camera view will override the front camera view. NSWin Oz. Can you please tell me how to switch the screen off completely? As it is distracting! Does it still record when you do this as the instruction are NOT the best!

Car used: ford fiesta 2017 Front camera affects the car GPS. Navigation screen in the car will show GPS barred. (It shows as if you driving in the sea Battery is of poor quality, and never charges. Transferred videos on pc, and there was a green band at the bottom of all videos (like when we were watching video cassettes years ago!) I got it fitted professionally to hide all wires and i only got to know the problems mentioned above. So it would cost me more to return it. Don’t waste your money.

I buyed this device too but i have some questions.. what happens if my sd card are filled with theese recorded videos? Do i have to delete the videos by myself or does the device delete the first recorded video automatically? Sorry for my bad english.. 🙈

for the price I paid it's a great dash cam , the only thing I notice is the rear view is more clear than the front cam.wish it was adjustable.

Yes, you can split the screen. Also, if you have the red / black wires connected to your backup lights, it will switch automatically.

Yes. And since you can see what you're looking at eyes forward, there is no reason to have the monitor show the front cam. Best to leave the back camera in the monitor all the time, it can aid you while driving (checking blind spots).

Hi i'm looking at buying one of these on trade me. What i need to know is while it's recording and if someone cuts me off or i see an accident in front of me will the camera automatically save it or do i have to quickly hit a button to capture it for evidence? And if my car is parked does the motion detector turn it on automatically if someone is trying to break into my car and how close do they have to be to walk in front of it to activate? Hello. I have installed this xamera on my car and it worked fine for some time but now it is operating very slowly, basically lagging be it in selecting the menu options or the camera it self. Any idea why this could happen and how to fix it?

Has anyone figured out how to work the motion detection? When I power down the car (and it cuts power to the cigarette lighter) the camera powers down. I would prefer it runs while parked so that I can know if someone messes with my car. I put on the motion detection but that seems to do nothing. Also, it is advertised as a dual channel recorder. For those who have connected the rear camera, if the monitor is only displaying the front or rear camera, does it still record both?
