yes you should select UK. The country from where you got your university entrance exam( A Level from London) counts, not the country from where you wrote your exams (Pakistan).

Only with A2. True you will have to wait one year unnecessarily but some people use the time to do IELTS and prepare everything for visa application. In some countries you even need to wait 3-6 months for an appointment date for visa application.

Did you do Cambridge A Level? If yes, then for this year application you need language subject from next year on, three subjects are sufficient.

What do you mean with a SAT?Actually a full London A Level is suffizient for GERMANY.

Is is possible to apply to German Universities after completing the AS (Year 12) Level and do the studienkolleg instead of completing the A-Levels (Year 13)?

Theoretically it is possible to do so. But I wouldn't recommend it. Only some Studienkollegs allow it, others not, depends on the Studienkolleg and the Bundesland. And additionally most Studienkollegs are in German and require B1 German before admission. Its better and easier to complete full A Levels and come here. there is no possibility to apply in summer itself, have to apply for next intake. You could use that time for IELST and visa processing .

You need full A Levels to study bachelors direct in Germany, there is also a possibility to do a foundation course with AS, but that's very costly and not recommended.

Where is it stated that maths is a must? This is what I found on Anabin.--> 3 A Level aus: Mathematik, Biologie, Chemie, Physik, Informatik. So its not a must to have Maths to study Medicine in Germany.

@@stetobrain then I am so sorry Sir. Previously on websites regarding on med school requirements in Germany there was this information about maths being mandatory but now it has changed I believe. I took Maths, Biology and Chemistry I hope it'll be enough to get accepted .

If we choose language like our mother tongue language like in my case its urdu does it counts or like it has specific languages to take ..Also Can we give ilets or sat exams as a proof of English proficiency instead of taking language as a subject in alevels

yes you can give Urudu in A Levels . IELTS need to be taken separately as a English proficiency proof.

You can only apply with A2 to German universities.

For London A Levels the minimum requirement is 3 C, and language subject not required. The exact grades for admission can be predicted specially if your course is a restricted one. In that case it depends on the amount and grades of other applicants.

YES you are eligible. You need to have IELTS if yo do a course in English and C1 German if you want to do degree in German language.

For most universities it is required to have min of 6 score in all the Bands.You can apply and see but I can't guarantee it. I don't now anyone who got admitted with below 6 to Rhein-waal.

It means that the respective universities can either chose the new system or the old one in 2022. From 2023 the new requirements are suffizient.

Yes, basically you can apply for a university place and get admission. Maybe you apply for a non-restricted course so that the change for a admission would be greater.

yes! according to the new rule no language needed, but the other three subjects should be independent of each other. Maths and further maths are not considered as independent subjects.

actually you are eligible , only thing is that sometimes Business studies and Accounting are not considered as independent subjects, in that case they don't accept your A Levels and will ask you to do another subject.

Yes sure if you sat for Cambridge A Level with the subject combination you mentioned you are eligible for public university entrance. You need IELTS in addition.

Hi Umul, yes of course you are right. I mean that 3 subjects are compulsory and in Sri Lankan a levels nearly everyone has to sit for the English a level exam and thats why a language subject is automatically there if you sit for Sri Lankan a levels. What you are writing applies mainly for London A Levels.

PLEASE have a look at the requirements under anabin.de , for this year application it depends on the university if they accept 3 subjects only.

Since my A Level results come out in August 2023, I have to apply for Winter 2024 (the uni I'm looking at doesn't offer the course in English in Summer). So the new entry requirements apply for me, right?

There is a need for the subjects to be independent ( maths and further maths are not considered different subjects) from each other. Check it out, that might be e possible issue. Otherwise write them a mail asking for explanation.

No, only in the state of Baden-Wüttemberg there is a fee of 1500 euros for international students. Mostly in other states they charge only a semester contribution of 200-500 euros per semester for both local and international students.

Hi Nusrat, To enter German university generally you need to have a A Level. So even if you are migrating you still need some sort of high school entrance for universities. Otherwise you can also try to do Ausbildung in Germany after learning the language. Foundations year in Germany are very rare and I am not sure if you can apply with O Levels , most of them require AS Level. This is all I know, for exact informations please contact a foundation year school and ask for entry requirements.

We are a Sri Lankan family living in United Arab Emirates. My son has done his AS exam in 2023 in Westminister school in UAE and waiting for the results. (Grade 12, British Curriculum, Cambridge Examination) for his IGCSE exam results was (4A* and 3A for English as a first language , Mathematics, Biology, and Physics A+, and chemistry . For direct admission full A Level is required. There are also some foundations courses, which you can apply for in Germany, after finishing the foundation course can apply to university with that.
