2022. I was browsing through my subscriptions and found this gem, reminding me of the good old times when KZread was still young and content on this platform...different. Will spend the next couple of hours rewatching these masterpieces. Much love.

I really love this song and always wanted to learn it on the piano. Your version gives me chills every time and it was my goal to play it as well. I started playing the piano 9 months ago, I taught myself and now I finally succeeded to play Requiem for a Dream, with the aid of your video! I am quite proud but I thank you so much for inspiring me!

I love how the bass line has a "rumbling" feel, especially in the more energetic phrases.

From the beginning this piece had me in a trance. This was played so beautifully it's such a dramatic and intense song.

I cried when I listened to. immediately as memories flooded.

After watching this my computer had to reboot due to the epicness of this video

December 2020....the year ends and I need to listen to this masterpiece...

Played on july 10th 2011.. and im watching on july 11th 2021.! 10 years and still superb!

Your version of this song(piano cover) is the best one of those I've listened. And I'm always wondering....Can people with small hands play this piece as well as you do?

I feel sorrow in the beginning then a build up little by little, and then I feel courage, like a battle or a fight, then the build up continues, and I sense a like a "defeat", as the courageous one has defeated the bad one, but still in the end of song, I feel almost like a defeat but with death, I just love the "you" play this piece of music.
