Sam retired in '92, and came back in 2004. Surprisingly, he is very active for his age, still running around on stage and dancing at the age of 64. I love my guitar -- Ovation, it was one of Sam's favorite guitar in his early career. So that's why I got one myself, hehe.

Thanks! I'm not very good with tabs, so that's why I didn't play it. But maybe in the future I can upload it, but for now I think this a good enough basic tutorial for the people who wants to play this song.

I am fine with the intro with the patterns (25432...etc) you presented, and you have also explained well what the order of strings I should hit, but then i have problem with the part after the intro, I could not see the patterns you used because it is so quick,so that will be great if you can make another video (mentioning what's the order of strings you hit for the part after intro), or you can just comment here about the patterns, Thanks a lot:)) Cheers to Sam Hui's fans!!

Oh okay, the patterns after the intro is just basic a pick pattern for each chord, I cannot give you the specific pattern I used because I've played this song quite a lot that I pretty much play it without knowing kind of picking pattern I use ... But this pattern may get you through the whole song, it's similar to the pattern I use: Am (4321), D7 (4321), G (654321), C (54321), Em(654321), Bm (54321), Bm7 (54321)

The pattern is quite easy but knowing what strings to hit, it can be quite confusing.... I have not played Love You More each Day by Jacky Cheung before, because I rarely listen to his songs...

I have played 半斤半两, but I've never uploaded, because I wasn't happy with the take, but I might be do a cover soon. The song is pretty easy to play... Not including the solo. My Ovation Guitar should sound same to your guitar, I left my pre-amp on normal, so when you play along with me, it should sound the same :). Anyways, practice, practice, practice! I can't wait!

I just dont know which string need to pick after go into the lyrics :o

Hello, thanks for viewing. There are many ways to play the intro. I've tried playing the introduction with this pattern, (C on third fret 25432) (Slide to C first fret 2432), Slide C to third fret (2432) , then to a G on first fret with the same pattern 25432 following a C chord with the same pattern -- 25432 then strum all strings for G chord. I re-watched this video, It seems I've used this pattern: strings 2 and 5 were picked together, following 342, and used throughout the intro... You may need to experiment with the intro, try playing along with Sam's 浪子心聲, it'll be a lot easier to learn with that than my video. If you'd like I can make another video with just the intro containing different angles, so you can follow along.
