Hi Sherry, I' had enjoyed you KZread crafting for a few years now. I really think you are a very gifted person who likes to share what you do. I like to recycle and reuse cards and much more. One thing I did with my old Christmas cards was to make a box that I use to hold my Christmas tags that I make and I sectioned it out to hold some embellishments and stick on's. I first used a box with a flip up lid that I got for Christmas with my favorite cologne in so I had a ready made box and just changed it up. I cut up my old christmas card into smaller pieces and started glueing them on the box. I overlapped them to cover the box and the box had a ribbon closure so it was an easy craft and I have used it every years for many years. I made one for our daughter, I did hers a little different and cut out pictures and placed them side by side at her request. I just wanted to share my idea and you are more than welcome to share. Am retired and just came into some scrapbooking paper and tools, so am just now learning how to do this, am so excited to make the boxes for gifts and the different notebooks! Hi Sherry, I really love the tutorial but I didn't have any 5x7 Christmas cards 😞. I just wanted you to know that I used decorative paper to complete the box and the book with the 150 sheets . I wish I could have completed all five but it is 3:00 a.m. (LoL) Thank for teaching me how to do your wonderful crafting....good night or very early good morning....

I love all five creations. However , the large box is my favorite. Did you secure the bottom lid, and if so , was it with glue or tape . Again, I love it ❤ !
