I have been reading Bill Johnson's book Born for Significance and in it he talks about leadership and the correct way to approach leading he says this: "Ruling is about protection and serving is about empowerment." He then goes on to talk about authority and how authority when given is meant for you to speak for those voices that do not have room to speak or very little room to speak. I started the book this week and then this drops. I see you Lord! Thank you for forming me into a great leader and help me stay low and smell of sheep.

That was absolutely beautiful. And listening just now I realized that this is exactly what happened to my husband and me at a church. Never really thought of it as abuse but that's exactly what it was. And during the prayer at the end I just felt such a release. Thank you guys so much! Love and blessings!
