i think there is a mistake in your addition at 4:17.

please answer🤧 why does the signed bit change? isn’t it 1 bcz the no. is negative and 0 if positive? If that’s the case, then why would you change the sign bit in 1’s complement when it’s a 0 cuz the no. is positive?

There is no need for an extra bit in complement form either its 1's or 2's, if we take an extra bit it's okay, but we need to change this extra bit also according to our use of either its 1's or 2's complement.

Cause 1's and 2's complements for +ve numbers is same as the 'signed magnitude form'.

Why we didn't take opposite of 41 in positive ones compliment ......is ones compliment only work for the negative ?

So for positive numbers it's 1s and 2s compliment form is the same... and for -ve numbers say -41, 1s compliment is exactly the inversion of the +41 ie, 1s of -41= 1010110. Now for 2s compliment add 1... 2s of -41 is 1010110+1= 1010111
