Of the 3 games you mentioned, world of warships is probably the “least grindy” of the three. It’s still a grind, but it’s easier than thunder and tanks.

honestly, badger does grind in the smartest way. he plays a game for a week. maybe 2. makes his video and moves on. maybe he'll return if they sponsor him. but he's a busy boy.

I for once absolutely love that this World of Warships video includes minutes of unhinged conversation about Sprite of all things. It's so on brand.

As someone who’s played WOWS since 2021 and War Thunder since basically the same year, the grind can be a nightmare but it isn’t nearly as bad as dealing with imbalance. Warships has the big problem of aircraft carriers and submarines, ships specifically designed to hunt the actual warships of the game. They ruin the overall gaming experience and can wipe multiple ships within an instant. Especially with carriers you can kiss goodbye to good positioning and actually punishing your enemy due to having to avoid swarms of aircraft that are laughably tanky, sometimes even being harder to down than an actual ship (looking at you FDR, totally fair that your planes have more HP than a damn ship). These problems don’t exist at low tier but become a massive turn off at mid tier

Yeah, one comment said that Badger's group all give off "Chaotic Neutral" energy and they don't know which of them is FUNNIER.

I have 1500 hours in War Thunder. I have yet to complete an entire tech tree.

Love most of the RussianBadger reactions, but this one is more 6 or 7 out of 10. Lots of it was entertaining, but a good chunk I skipped due to the ramblings showing a lack of understanding the video. This was not a tutorial. He was not trying to demand people spend years min-maxing the whole game. He was telling the story about how and why HE did it, which is entertaining when not being purposefully contradictory to the game. You did reel it back in near the end where you said your stipulations shouldn't diminish others' fun, which I appreciate, but it could get lost if some people get too annoyed to even get to the end to hear it. Not tryna be a blind hater, that's just my genuine constructive criticism.

No worries, it only took me 4 YEARS to collect two out of like 10 different steel currency ships in WoWs (FDR and Shikishima) while being in middleschool and highschool

The only exception to the "You can get a lot out of playing free to play games for free, which you probably should anyway" rule is Team Fortress 2, right?
