Even a normal auto company do make one model of cars yet slightly different designs. So I don't encourage to change the unchangeable just to match the original, actually leaving it the way it is, just gives it an personal and unique touch.

I feel with modern day lidar technology you guys should’ve bought a high quality device that gets all the measurements of each an every part of the real lamborghini and then proceed to print the outer shell using a 3d printer

This is because they are using a different chassis and the wheelbase doesn't line up 100% perfectly. I believe they used a Boxer chassis since its engine layout and wheelbase is as close as you could get. If be interested to know what chassis they use for their builds though to confirm. The mr2 and Pontiac fiero are much shorter/narrower so replicas that use those are dead give aways.

I agree. There are quite a few small angle differences. Such as the angle in the middle of the bonnet. The angles at the back of the engine cover as small but quite a few differences. I think, overall the gaps on the body panels are smaller than the original. And some of the differences in your car look better.
