The nuts on frame are welded to the frame they are not rusted in place

Thanks for the video. I just had my chrome rear bumper delivered for my 2017 frontier and am going to put it on soon. Bumper is really heavy though. I'm definitely gonna get my friend to help me. I have a trailer hitch as well so hopefully that will help a bit

I have same year and mine came out super easy

Theyre either welded threads ....or sleves made during frame manufacture and tapped to te bolt threads......not nuts ....thanks for the vid tho....needed to do that on my truck soon 😋 BTW, rubberrised under coating will make it rust even more..... use POR15 or some rust converter and rust paint ....would be bettier

Robert I am doing the same thing to my 2007 Frontier. My question is have you found a black front bumper yet? I have bought the rear like you and hopefully will install it this weekend.

Hey Robert. Thanks for the video on how to remove the bumper! Going to make my job a lot easier. One question. Other than the 6 bolts you had to remove; did you have to remove an extra bolt on each side that has a small flat metal bar that has a bolt going upward into the frame that extends and attached to the edge of the bumper? Just curious. I have a 2011 Frontier was just wondering. Thanks. John

use wool wax and spray the under carriage of the truck. keeps the rust away.

It’s from New England so ya it took a salt bath basically

Those nuts are welded in there there's a reason not coming doesn't look like a hexagon

Just gotta keep at it. It’s a pain. There’s a bunch of tricks to get rusted bolts off in other videos I’ve watched. Good luck friend
