Also the bit about the replacing the clip is right on too - I have the exact same issue with mine broken the same way ! I’ll do as you suggest to replace it too

Haha! Yep, when I bought my 2001 Yukon Xl it came with captains chairs which was nice because they reclined and was cool and all, but one of the main reasons I wanted a Yukon Xl was for the 8 person seating capacity so I told the dealer to switch them out for a bench seat. I have no regrets and the huge center console that folds out from the middle of the bench seat is nice and huge with two cup holders and a deep tray. It's like a small table unlike others that just have two cup holders.

I got an 02 wanna trade the seats

My bolt is turning can get the nut off. I guess I will have to under the suburban and try to get a pair of vice grips on it.

Should have change the latch on both. Looks dumb with two different color ones
