Very informative and presented good insight to tackle the task. Direct and to the point. (buy a 1/4” ratchet, they are cheap, and even cheaper at flea markets or yard sales. Just sayin)

If you remove the heater A/C control module be careful not to replace the front panel pinching any of those wires behind the panel. May cause issues later on. Good informative video.

Can you wire an aftermarket stereo system straight to this wire harness instead of getting the upgraded wire harness adapter?

I started a radio replacement project on my 2005 Town Car. That constant beeping was the headlights on. It seems the headlights "fail on" when the switch is unplugged. I was able to maneuver the trim panel out of the way after unplugging the airbag light and information cluster buttons.

@@roachy69 5:10 Definitely NOT keys in the ignition. He just pulled them out. That faster beep is the "your headlights are on and the door is open" beep.

What is the purpose of those tabs? Are they only to illuminate the lights on the buttons?
