I wish I had this skill of that soldering those 6 batteries into a series battery! Very happy to see such a clean work. Thank you friend for showing a clean DIY.

Try it out! A couple practice runs, and you can do it for sure. Soldering like this is a bit trickier with things being smaller, but a good place to start learning is on copper plumbing pipe. It's a great skill to attain! 👊

Putting 10 high power welds on a cell in 5 seconds is gonna cook the insides, you know you can always just wait in between cells, I usually just tack them on then come back to each cell once I've let it cool down to minimize damage

It will not work bu just replacing cells . .have to reset or unlock BMS

If he used non oem battery pack it won't need a reset

Changing the cells is easy. The hard part is to make windows accept the battery after the cell exchange

And how do you UNBLOCK the battery CHIP? It wont work like that.

Use non branded battery for cheap. And replace cells. It will work.

Please did you reset the BMS? I did the same thing I changed the battery cells, but I didn't get any voltage on the positive output terminal. Is there any solution please?

the more the better, but dont overdo it. you should get feeling when the connection is strong 🤔

As far i know there is a chip which counts charges and its not that simple to reset it

all the DIY Battery people are fake, it does not work like that, the moment you take the battery board out of batteries it gets locked, even after replacing with new batteries it will not work.

yes you can as long as the voltage is around the same. The problem though is this doesn't work, and if it does your laptop will show ZERO or a random % number and will never tell you how much it's charged. You have to reset/reprogram the chip which acts as a controller inside of the battery, you can't just put new cells in.

It's probably best to do this outside, since there is a fire hazard.

You didn’t show battery capacity before replacing cells. Was it about 2 min? 😂

I checked with a spare laptop battery made in China, and like many other equipment made in China, they are nor done to be later maintained, there is no protuberant area to open the battery, everything is flat and soldered, you have to destroy it to open it. Better explain how to build a laptop battery from scratch.

Haven't done it on batteries but have done it on adapters, just drop some petrol on the joint and the glue melts.
