Replacing Drive Sprockets and Bearings on a 1969 Ski Doo Olympique / Ski Doo Olympic
Changing the drive sprockets and bearings on the front and rear of old Ski Doo Snowmobiles is one of the first steps to getting them back on the snow. The sprockets become brittle over the years are usually one ride away from breaking if you pick up a vintage rider that has sat for any length of time. Don’t get stranded in your yard or miles from home and take the time to change these out.
This specific snowmobile is a 1969 Ski Doo Olympique with a 318cc electric start that was in great condition so we aren’t wasting time with a full restore hoping to get it back on the snow this winter and teaching my sons along the way.

Yep ....been there!
Have you had any issues with the drive shaft seals leaking? I've replaced mine once, but the chaincase side continues to leak. I'm guessing they may be a very slight groove in the shaft allowing the chaincase oil to leak through. It's quite a bit of work to redo everything again, but I will once find a solution to preventing this after reassembly.

Not on any we’ve done. Could be as simple as pushing the seal in on the chain case side a little bit.
You whack the outter bearing race?? Those bearing are already finished.

Not sure what part but I probably couldn’t tell from my angle. I do a lot of stupid things
Гусеница какрй ширины?
10:30 I think you drove your bearing on upside down. Sealed side should be toward the sprocket

These new bearings have both sides sealed.
