It's super easy to replace the battery in a 2017 Ford Explorer Key fob!
You need two batteries - CR2025s
Fingers
A dime or screwdriver to pry a piece off (you'll see in the video).
This process takes about 2 minutes (when you're not filming it at least) and very easy to DIY!

My key fob does not have the little plastic tag that goes between the two batteries, do you think that will be an issue?
I keep finding videos with push button starts, mine is not but it still said key not detected. I'm not sure if it has a battery, if it does, how do you open it? Help.
Do you have to reprogram them after replacing the battery?

No, not in our experience. I replaced the batteries in both keys and they worked immediately afterwards.
