    This is what you will need to disconnect Camry 2002/2003 fuel line. It might fit some other model. I used it and I still have it (solid metal). Lisle 39210- Fuel Line Disconnect for Toyota and Nissan. I think I bough it from ebay for a reasonable price.

    I have an 05 corolla ce. Getting a pretty noticeable smell of gas in my car when its cold and idling warming up or when at a stop sign or light. Today it seemed like it got better after the car was warmed up but I'm really not sure. Its really starting to annoy/piss me off tho. Any help guys?? I can't seen to get a straight answer on where the fuel pressure regulator is. My gas lines all seem good and my fuel pump is working fine. Someone help!!

    If you go to any auto parts store. This is what they will give you if you ask for a fuel pressure regulator. I just bought a brand new fuel pump and yes, a fuel pressure regulator came with it. But again. This is what they also gave me when I asked specifically for a fuel pressure regulator.

    Yes, but the fuel pulsation damper works by mildly regulating fuel pressure. So it is still a part of the fuel system you should look into when diagnosing fuel pressure problems.

  • @therodecclesshow2070

    @therodecclesshow2070

    There could be a number of issues. Most likely is fuel pump and/or fuel pressure regulator. Both are located in the gas tank. If you are not getting enough air it could be a bad or dirty air regulator. Could also be a vacuum leak somewhere in the line or fuel rail. Unless you want to go through each possibility separately, you may want to take it in for a full diagnostic. At which point you can either do the repair yourself or if you can't have a qualified mechanic fix it for you.

  • @davidfriedlander9868

    @@therodecclesshow2070 I had a cert. mechanic check out the car, but didn’t find anything. Anytime we told them, and they tried to replicate the issue, it never happened. I’ll ask them about those things, though. They apparently did a full diagnostic.

  • @therodecclesshow2070

    @@davidfriedlander9868 When they do a diagnostic it is usually by hooking the car up to a computer. That doesn't always tell what the problem is as there are lots of systems and areas of the car that are not connected to the computer. They actually have to do old fashioned work to figure it out.
