So, after having gone through 3 OXA tool holders from three different sellers, I decided to spend a bit more and deal with a US based company. I went with the Shars OXA clone of the Aloris tool holding system for my Chinese mini lathe.
I needed to drill some holes in the sides of the pivot pins for my Navigator's power running boards so that the modification to allow me to add Zerks to the pins could transfer the grease to the working surfaces.
So I got out my brand new, shiny 250-002 holder and tried to clamp the running board pin in place. I quickly found that one of the four holes had been shall we say produced with less than the highest of care and workmanship.
So I called up Shars. They had me send them some pictures, well actually I sent them the link where I talked with all of you about this problem.
They, within 5 days had a brand new one out to me, along with an prepaid envelope to send the bad one back.
We are quite pleased.
