Thanks so much for posting these. Thanks to you I saved $480 in parts and labor on the two top engine mounts. Took me about 4 hours for both of them so made $120 bucks an hour this weekend.

Thanks for sharing. Your video helped me a lot when I replaced my transmission mount. I propped up the hood with a stick on the passenger side so that I did not have to work around the factory hood stay.

Very helpful, thank you! I've replaced my whole front end and motor mounts chasing wheel vibration only to get the same clunk on acceleration. I'm fairly certain this is the problem.

Did you get this figured out? I've also heard that the TCM can be the cause of this and that it can be fixed by UpFix.

@@Petefenlon this replacement didn't work. It stopped for a minute after replacing the front struts but it's back. I'll check out the TCM. Thanks!

@@djfoster73 Thanks for the update. My Mazda has something similar to yours so I'll probably hold off on changing the motor mounts if they look fine on visual inspection. See if I can chase this down another way.

Thanks for sharing, but my problem is mazda 5 getting unbalance/swing while driving right after transmission mount replacement. What was the causes? Workshop kept denied it to check back...

I need to change out the TCM....Im gonna assume i should change out theis mount as well since it will be there to remove as well?

Where exactly did you position the jack to support the weight of the transmission?

Very old but there is a lip on the flange where rhe pan meets the tranny, front drivers side near the linkage its a very small target but it rotates the tranny the right way jsut did it and watching this video for the torque settings

As you mentioned you have clinking between 30 to 40 Km. My question is? did you resolve this issue when you done?

Do you have Manual or automatic? As transmission mount differ (two holes vs one)

Hi UreThane. I have the same year Mazda5 with an automatic transmission and I'm experiencing slight vibration/shudder when accelerating at light/moderate throttle. The vibration/shudder starts after the car is in second gear and around 15-25 miles/hr. Did you get this from the worn transmission mount also? I've changed the two front CV axles, rear motor mount and had the wheels checked for bent rims, but still get the same result.

Did you ever get this figured out? I have similar issues as well as occasional hard shifts into 2nd. I've heard many people saying that the TCM needs repair because it overheats on the transmission. Just wondering if any of your fixes might get it solved at a cheaper cost...

@@Petefenlon I still have the issue with shudder, but don't think it's related to the auto transmission. The vibration can be replicated even when the car is in Park. I'm leaning towards the engine balance shaft causing this problem.

need to remove the engine undercover first. then place the jack with piece of wood, support the gearbox. i just did it yesterday.

Hi Sergio, there is a support jack holding the the engine up. somehow during editing I didn’t put that footage in. Place a jack below for support.

Thank you for your videos. And do yourself a favor and remove the Transmission Control module from the transmission location and hang it with tie wraps on the brake lines. The TCM gets overheated overtime by the Transmission and fails. If it does, there're refurbished ones online for $350

@@cuchooo I was refanning to the transmission control module TCM. I'm not sure if you have the ABS light on too. You may try to watch this video if this applies to you kzread.info/dash/bejne/o6aM2rWDnrC_oKw.html Also sometimes the traction control button on the left by the door it gets jammed. Try the simplest stuff first
