Pull it out, replace the seal. make sure the timing ring stays strong attached to the toothed pulley...and put the pulley back and tight the bolt. Now remove the flywheel lock and set the timing locks accordingly. rest shows in the video.

    Yo bro, do you have any advise of how to clean enginebay, and under the car for oil (vw polo 1.2 TDI 2011). It is dripping oil underneath the car, and I want to clean the car to see where it comes from.

  • @dailyhandsdiy

    @dailyhandsdiy

    2 жыл бұрын

    hey there bro, normaly ppl prefer waterless cleaning for dust and small oil spreading but extreme oil leaks spry diesel in pressure cans towards the engine bay or specific spot. As diesel wont conduct electricity you are safe with the wiring. Let it soak for some time and spray some petrol in pressure can. Try avoiding the petrol over flooding over orings or seal areas as petrol can react with rubber and lower the oring's life. This will wash away the oil concentration. just start the engine idle for 5 mins so the fuel residues will be vapourised by the heat. Now drive and look for the fresh oil leakage.

  • @dailyhandsdiy

    @dailyhandsdiy

    2 жыл бұрын

    Normaly oil leaks from cam or crank shaft oil seals, oil cooler seals, vacuum pump orings, valve cover seals, ccv pipes or fitting, turbo housing and mostly the oil pan gasket or sealant.

    Yup procedures n steps all same. The only difference will be the belt. 1.5 uses a bit shorter length belt than 1.4 because of change in HP pump pulley design.
