The rust caused the magnet move a tiny bit. It is enough to squeeze the coil. You can clean the surface , move the magnet slightly to find the right position when the coil movs freely and glue the magnet in place. It has worked for me perfectly in my Audi.

You can do it for most amplifiers. Really holds the sound better

Nice video! But I must ask, it is like there is no bass in my 2015 model, any suggestion what this could be or anything I could try to fix this. I have looked through the settings of the car and that are all like they used to. One day it just had no bass and everything sounded horrible!

Could be the speakers, did you try them on a different radio ? Are they move freely? Do you have bass from the rear speakers?

@@MeFixingEverything Every media has no bass, radio or bluetooth. No Base rear or in front. And they are the speakers that came with the car, so not moveable.

Hi I did the same thing and changed my speakers to new ones. But same thing there is no bass. What do you think the problem is. Could the capitators be bad ?

Could be the speakers, did you try them on a different radio ? Are they move freely? Did you check the radio bass settings? Do you have bass from the rear speakers?

@@MeFixingEverything yes can hear when car isn't moving too. VW said it might be due to software issue. They are working on a new update. Could be carplay integration issue. But worst during calls.

I don't think so. I have the same Passat 2012 and I couldn't use the factory frame. I installed 4 JBL CLUB 6520 with small alterations.

What size are the speakers?
