Began this process, but my Zandar glue is holding fast and the pliers were starting to damage the fig so this technique is not 100% which is unfortunate because I was looking fwd to an easy fix. Still glad you have this as an option for us to attempt!

So I used this method tonight & successfully put a new o-ring in zartan. Thanks bro!!!

This method worked on zarana . My zandar though his chest bursted

Hey CPP! I tried your method and it worked well and it was easy! Thank you for your tips! I just subscribed to your channel.

This (mostly) worked for me. One of the interior pegs broke off of Zandar, but that's no biggie. This certainly isn't foolproof, but if you can live with the seemingly 20-25% failure rate, then it could be the simplest solution out there.

I wish Zartan was that easy

Hi, great video, what is the sizing of the o-ring that you are using ? where do you find the cheapest / best place online to buy them ? thanks in advance

i recently got a another zartan since mine was needed some new parts and he had a new oring put in him but for some reason the previous owner had superglued him after the fact and we like never got him apart also done this repair on zarrana and zandar luckily zarrana came apart easy zander was fixed incorrectly by the previous owner his waist and legs were glued on luckily we got them fixed as well

People do a lot of dumb stuff to vintage figures when they don't know any better. I'd recommended using a large hammer on the Zartan figure.

Well I tried with the method that you shown and it did not want to do that and try cutting it with a Ecto knife yeah right trying to hold it and cut yeah not the easiest

I'm afraid to use pliers to get my earnings zarana apart. Her oring went and I'd love to fix her I got her in a lot but oring was broke.

There are other methods. I just think this is the easiest. It doesn't work for everyone 100% of the time but it's worked for me every time. Just remember to take the screw out before attempting.

Worked for me but I did poop myself in the process! My zartan and zarana no longer have dangly legs!

It works for Zarana and Zandar, but with zartan it is almost impossible.

I haven't ever had any issues with zartan but I know they can all occasionally be difficult.

Lol this has never worked! Mine are super crazy glued! I even tried dunking them in hot water & that didn’t even work..

holy crao I used boiling water on them and it work good for me thanks for the update

I've never tried boiling water just because I've always been afraid it would affect the color change our distort the figure.

Brother..I can be your biggest supporter, or biggest opposite. My concern is my CHILDHOOD ZARTAN, ZARANA, ZANDAR. They are important to me because I've had them for most of my life. I don't care about monetary values others care about, just not to damage my stuff. I did one ZARTAN for someone as a kid and thats when I first realized the glue issue. I don't remember it turning out well. I know I got him open with a blade and it was horrible even though I had allot of skill and patience. Can you post more video of doing ZARTANs specifically?? I only have one Zartan at the moment but it was exactly the same as this. If I get anything l another one I'll definitely post it though.

Yep deals are still out there my friend 😉 I went into a toy/collectible shop here in Ohio last year it was in a boardwalk type of town on the lake anyway they had all kinds of stuff nicknacks pops comics etc well I see a complete Jawa in a case and ask “I’m a Jawa nut since I was a kid I think I’m up to 60+” anyway guy says $40 which is a good price if you needed one lol but then I spy a box of loose Joes $3 each 4/$10 and I pull a BAT with broken crotch BUT he still had his hand attachment 😉 then I thought 💭 my eyes were playing tricks but not 1 but 2 Night-force Shockwave figures no accessories of course and a Zap figure with a broken crotch but two perfect arms/hands with thumbs included lol 😉 Then the I asked the guy if he ever has any loose accessories that he sells and he pulls out a nice size box 📦 and says there $1 each I ended up buying the whole box off of him there was some amazing parts and to think 🤔 I asked him did he just get this stuff in and he said no he has had it for about 6 months… 🤯 So the deals are always out there my friend you just have to hunt it and be first and sometimes first doesn’t matter because some of these toy guys would cut your throat for a box of accessories…

I appreciate you just speaking truth without flashy videography. And you don't go on and on taking 20 minutes to explain one thing. And you're funny...hope you meant to be and I didn't just make fun of you.
